Wanted to love it
Bike tires cost too much these days - same price as a car tire but no where near the same amount of material. I spent way too much time looking for new ones to replace Bontrager XR2s. Wanted to love these. They are light but they do not have the profile shown unless you have wide rims. They are very tall tires with steep sides. If you want to go straight these are great. If you want to turn, make sure you have wide rims or the tire profile will not work. As installed on a 2019 hardtail, they have less grip then the 6 year old Bontragers I replaced.
