Other versions of this chair are probably great, people love them. Based on that I bought the kickback rocker. It is the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever sat in. I had marked it two stars, but sitting in it now I took it down to one as the poles are digging into my back. If not your back they’re in your backside. Terrible design, you tip backwards in it all the time and fall over if the ground isn’t flat. I’m 6’ 200 lbs. Wife is 5’4” 110 pounds she likes it fine.

We have had 2 of these rockers for 6 months after using a handful of times we had both of them rip on the back. I am only 230 and my wife is 140 yet both had the same fail points. The fabric faded within a month and started to squeak after the first weekend out.

My coworkers and I all use these chairs. I am personally on my 3rd chair. Only problem I have had is about after 6 months of use the material at the top of the backrest frays and rips, causing the whole back to be unusable. Considering I am only about 230lbs and the chair is rated for 400lbs is mildly annoying due to the cost of replacing the chairs. Otherwise it is a great design as long as you remember to oil the springs.

Reinforcement needed

Like other complaints, the top fabric on top of the chair back rods needs to be heavily reinforced. We have the XL, and it claims to be suitable for up to 400 lbs. my husband is under 300, I’m 150 and both or our back rods are exposed at the top at the material. I just got mine for Mother’s Day in May 2025, he got his for Xmas 2024. These chairs are only used on weekends for the most part! Why are they tearing??

A bit slow, But GREAT customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older rocker and the seat ripped. I called to attempt to purchase another canvas. Found out that wasn’t possible but, the chair had a lifetime warranty. I ordered another after sending them a photo of my damaged chair that was blue. They promised a two week shipment. When my chair didn’t arrive after four weeks, I calls to question. Seems they were out of “blues” and asked for another color option. I asked what was available and they said “black”. They shipped it and I’m sitting in it smoking a good cigar. Thanks for your quality equipment and your customer care.

I really enjoyed using my chair but tore along the back and is now unusable. I kept it in the garage and out of the elements so no excuse for short lifespan.
