Patagonia  Capilene Cool Sun Hoody - Women's

I absolutely loved the hoodie, the color is very nice, the size is perfect, and the hoodie is lovely. I washed it, and it didn’t shrink. I already bought another one, I had to order it directly from Patagonia, so REI doesn’t have that color. You might want to get all the colors, as I will buy more.

I purchased this shirt for our Grand Canyon rim to rim backpacking trip. Even with temps on the mid 90s at the bottom of the canyon, I was comfortable in the shirt. I appreciated the hood and thumb holes to keep my skin protected while hiking. The shirt dries quickly and doesn’t get too heavy if you want to soak it in water to help with cooling. I liked the shirt so much I bought another one. I’m 5’2”, 130 lbs and the medium fits perfectly.

I love my new sun shirt. It is comfortable and functional. I especially like the loop button at the neck. It allows you to have a wider neck as you pull it on and off. But you can then cinch it up tighter for sun protection or to make the hood fit more securely over a baseball cap.

I we’re less than a week in Utah- Cannon, hiking in the desert, photography on warmer days. The pocket is a perfect size for lense cap. Hold your phone while you’re taking pictures. Light lightweight, thumb hole and middle finger strap helps your hands covered. Highly recommend.

Good sun protection, good fit. But the material isn’t super pleasant to the skin I would say. I do have sensitive skin though.
