Toughest bag ever!
I've only had the Panga 100 bag for a couple weeks, however I was able to use the other Panga bags (50 and 75) on a moose hunt in northern British Columbia and they were worth their weight in gold! We were always battling wet conditions and needed to keep our clothing and sleeping bags from getting damp. I also used the Panga 50 to keep my camera gear safe and sound as well! A great zipper and the heavy duty straps made it easy to load and unload the bags as we traveled by raft down river!
Tough enough to live out of for 5 months
We used Yeti Pangas to complete an 1800-mile, source to sea trip on the Green and Colorado rivers, and we were not disappointed. These bags are well-made and incredibly durable. The backpack straps are a nice detail that we used every day to transport our bags from boat to camp and back. Inside, the bag is blue, making it easier to find dark clothing, and there are two pockets that were useful for small items. Strong, well-placed attachment loops and grab handles for rigging to flip.
I am a believer!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time YETI fan ,the following are my purchases : Roadie 20, Tundra 125, Hopper Two 30, Panga 100, Panga 50, 1 Rambler Colster, 2 Rambler 10oz Lowball, 2 Rambler 14oz Mug, 9 Rambler 20oz Tumbler, 1 30oz Tumbler, Security Cable Lock & Bracket, 3 4lb YETI ice, 1 1lb YETI ice & last but not least the HONDO Base Camp Chair. Everything that I purchased is incredible, you get what you pay for. I like to buy things once. Thank you YETI!
Yeti Duffel Ready To Chuck
Very nice and tough. I was in and out of bush planes and in rainy weather. These bags performed well in these conditions and a got a few nods from my bush plane pilot. The way it is designed is makes for easy handling. Either carry it on your back or shoulder it. I like the grab handles and it was easy to handle them or stack them. It felt nice and firm handling when tossing bags to others as we were loading whether it was a plane, truck, or Uber cars. I really enjoyed using these for travel. They look cool and perform very well. I needed 3 for my hunt in Alaska. Spendy but worth it.
Outstanding
I bought this bag for my son as a bday gift. He absolutely loves it and says it's outstanding. As for the waterproof part he threw it in a pool to test it out and it floated!! So needless to say you be the judge....but in my opinion it can't get any better than that. Overall quality of the bag is great....durable and plenty of room to pack all your gear.
Rugged and Yeti Strong!
I recently purchased a Panga 100 to use as my "emergency river boat bag". Like all other products I've purchased from Yeti, I was not disappointed. It is rugged, waterproof, and holds everything I need to have in case my boat breaks down in the middle of nowhere and I have to spend a night on the river or in the swamp. It easily fits a hanging hammock tent, sleeping bag, food, water boiling kit, dry clothes, and all the other gear I would need to be comfortable. Everything stays bone dry even after being rained on, thrown in the river, and repeatedly dunk tested. I'm definitely a fan!
Well constructed and BIG..
This bag is big!! Bigger than a military sea bag and built way better. So this bag would have been perfect for some of my Marine Corps deployments. I bought it for day trips to barrier islands on my boat. The Panga 100 will hold enough beach supplies (towels, sunscreen, wallets, phones, non-perishable food and what ever else you might want to bring) for a family of 10 to 15. However, since my family is a total of 3 people, I also bought a Panga 50. I'm keeping the Panga 100 in case I ever decide to go on a 3-month excursion in the rain forest or if I just decide to run away. Either way, it's really built too well to return even if I never actually use it to it's full capacity.. Take away, this bag is big!!!
Air Tight
Bought it as a gift for friend now I’m going to buy one for myself! The bag was empty and zipped and my 190lb friend stood on top and it didn’t break. I’m sold. For comparison my golden retriever is 75lbs and the 100 is bigger than him!
Meat Luggage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the 75 and 100 prior to our annual cast and blast trip to FL and I'm glad I did. I packed the 100 inside of the 75 on the way down. After a successful week of hunting pigs and sport fishing I had the 100 packed with 108lbs of meat....Oversized luggage regs only allow for a 100lb bag so some lucky airport patrons walked away with some sausage and I got the Panga 100 down to 99.5lbs. The trip home was a piece of cake and the frozen sausage and fish fillets didn't even sweat in the luggage compartment. Still frozen solid when I packed the ice box later that day
Panga 100
I bought the 50 & the 100. You want the 100, or two 100’s: It packs up steep terrain and portages, way beyond expectations, even with heavy loads, is strong enough to pack rifle barrels, scopes, trekking poles, cramp ons and other gear which would wear and puncture lesser bags. Totally waterproof. Hard to submerge. You won’t loose gear in a FUBAR. The Panga 100 protects your fully loaded backpack and tent, plus all the gear you need for a ten day mountain hunt or pack-in fishing trip, and it’s nice to have it back in basecamp with fresh clothes and clean towel. In a pinch, Panga 100 with lots of homemade insulation is a great leak proof container for bag checking home everything from frozen Ahi To Elk straps.
