they ruined a good thing
I own four of the halo crews in the original version and made a point to buy a new one every time a flattering color came out. This “modern” update is an awkward and bulky fit. It’s also a little shorter than the previous version of the halo crew pullover.  I think the cropped length wouldn’t be so bad if the rest of it didn’t fit so poorly. It somehow runs too small and too large at the same time. Love the navy blue color, though! Fabric quality is still soft and cozy.
cropped and way overpriced
I was excited that Vuori finally had a dark blue top. This is not what I received and for some reason, clothing designers still think their core demographic (especially REI women) want crop tops. Ugh. Disappointed and returning.
so disappointing
I absolutely love the halo long sleeve crew neck and I have several of them that I wear all the time for all different activities and occasions. I thought I’d try this new style and I was soooo sad when I put it on. Somehow it’s wildly unflattering. You might be thinking how can that be possible?? I got my normal size, small, and the waistband
Soft and flattering on petite frames
I might be the exception, but I actually like the new fit. I'm fairly short (5'2) and liked how it fell on my torso without being overly long or cropped. While I think the sleeves are loose, it didn't seem oddly so. It's also incredibly soft like everything else with the Dream Knit fabric.

I love the fit and the color! It’s very cute and comfortable and I got the matching shorts. It does run a bit big as I got a XS and I usually wear a small or medium in vuori.

This is super cute on. Fits great. Sits right above mid to high jeans.
