Effective and Comfortable
I used these recently over a weekend of rafting. It's March in NC. Water was very chilly but not frigid. On the first day, I wore these over wool socks and under a pair of Keens. I stayed warm and dry. The next day was a bit warmer so I ditched the wool socks. I was comfortable and warm in just the NRS socks and the Keens. There was no chaffing or any other drawbacks to wearing them alone. I highly recommend these socks.
