Great little bag!
I bought this to take on my trip to Peru. It was fantastic! Very small and light weight. The cord around my neck was smooth so did not irritate my skin.

Stiff cord is a show-stopper
Tthe cord is VERY stiff, a result of trying to make it cut-resistant. This means if you wear it under clothing it will "print" (be visible), and it is very uncomfortable. This seems to be a case of bad judgement in design. If you wear under clothing, what does cut-resistance matter? If you wear it outside, you are foolishly advertising where you keep your valuables. Either way, a no-win situation.

Thumbs up!

light weight, flexible/adjustable strap, love it! fits my passport, pocket cash/change, and a small cellphone (iPhone 6)... you can wear it close around your neck or drop the straps down low and wear it over your shoulder... great for men and women.

Go to travel wallet

I bought this a few years ago on my first trip through Europe. The chord is solid and the material durable. Worn around the waist and tucked in conceals valuables well. It’s my go to for every international trip.

make it easy on yourself

this wallet is very handy especiallly going through an airport. hang it around your neck before you reach the airport with your passport inside. Buy your ticket and they will ask for your passport. Stick both in the wallet and go through several security stops. They ask for passport, ticket or both. Its hand, right there with no fumbling aroiund. It work great in Asia going through Taiwan, Macao/Hong Kong, and Thialand.

Disappointed hoping Pacsafe will read this

I purchased this neck wallet at REI Fresno. I needed to replace my REI co-op Richard lasted six years. I’m giving one star for the quality of materials, one star for quality of construction. Other than this, the Pacsafe neck wallet Is one of the most expensive on the market with very limited options in the design. Had I not needed it immediately, I would’ve left it on the rack. There’s only one zip compartment which is very tight and limits what you can put in it. There’s only one other storage which is a reinforced pocket in front of the zipped pocket. Nearly all of her neck while it’s on the market have multiple storage Compartments. This is important because when you’re “on the go” quick access is important. My REI Neck wallet cost half this, and has five storage compartments including 2 with zippers, made of strong rip stop, allowing quick access for individual items. I’ve been involved with outdoor companies most of my career. Pacsafe needs to product test it’s items against the other options. I’m also disappointed in REI for discontinuing the REI co-op neck wallet and only offering to mediocre neck wallets. I may yet return this poorly thought, poorly designed neck wallet. Yes, quality materials are high-quality. But the functionality stinks. I suppose if you’re only going to store your passport and a couple of credit cards this would suffice. But most travelers like to add a key maybe some receipts, other things that are important to Travellers. Again, you need to be more in touch with your consumer base. Great materials poor design. By the way, I am so disappointed in this neck wallet you need to know I nearly never give a bad review on any products, I just don’t bother. Either leave positive feedback or leave it alone. But that’s how important is that you don’t waste 34.95 on this item!

Ok, but a second protected pocket would help.

This pouch works, but I found it difficult to put much in and to take out what I'd added. This made getting on airplanes several times in one trip frustrating. I've used it inside a larger hip pack and it fit. I just only put my passport and license in it then.

Not recommended

Not recommended for passports. Uncomfortable around neck. Everyone knows you have a passport enclosed.

Good choice for safe carrying.

The wallet worked well. It held the few things I needed when entering and leaving Mexico and it fit comfortably under a t-shirt and was inconspicuous.
