Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! Wasn't looking for a packable raincoat, but saw this and wondered where it had been all my life! Most packable raincoats look like something you should be hiking in - this one fits the bill for everyday as well.....long enough to cover the backside, long enough to cover a skirt, long enough to sit on - has a nice tailored appeal. The sleeves are a bit long for me, but nothing that can't be rectified by rolling them up. This will be a great addition to my trip to Scotland as I really don't want to lug an umbrella around if I don't have to! In a nutshell - much sleeker look for a packable coat - great for the backpack/car/briefcase.....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good jacket with one serious flaw This is a great jacket with a surprising flaw. Good: It met all of my expectations for being lightweight, actually waterproof, and comfortable. The hood holds its shape well. Bad: The collar is VERY high and does not lay flat, regardless of whether or not you have the hood up. The collars is thus always laying on my face and smacks me while I walk. You can see this in the second photo with the blond woman, but it's not obvious in the rest. I tried bending the collar in, but this just shunts rain inside the jacket. Unfortunately, this turned out to be so annoying that it was a surprising dealbreaker for me. Note: I found it fits narrow through the hips. Forget what clothing size you wear, measure yourself with measuring tape, and select the size that will fit your body best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Travel Jacket Just returned from a trip to Japan during rainy season. This jacket was lightweight and kept me dry on days of constant rain and outdoor sightseeing. Also got lots of compliments, and the black fit in everywhere - urban and hiking. Packed into its own pocket, and am so happy overall with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excited then super disappointed I was very excited when I saw this jacket and read the reviews and when it arrived it was so light and beautifully designed. Then I tried it on. I am 5'2", weight 125 lbs and am short waisted and have hips!!!! So, I ordered a small. I can't close the zipper over my hips! The sleeves are way too long. Who is this jacket made for?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect travel raincoat I love this rain jacket. I bought this for a recent trip and it turned out to be the perfect travel raincoat. Lightweight and packs down relatively small into its own pocket. It kept me completely dry through downpours in Seville and drizzle in Madrid. I love the length -- long enough to keep me dry even when sitting on wet benches, and I love that the jacket is both long enough and wide enough at the hips and bottom to go over my crossbody bag, keeping my bag dry during downpours. (I'm 5'2", slim-hipped, broad-shouldered, in case that's relevant.) I love that the jacket zips up from the bottom so I could easily access my crossbody bag, even when I had it under the jacket. The adjustability of the hood is fantastic -- most hoods come down too far over my eyes but this one has a toggle in the back to adjust how far it comes down and the brim is fantastic for providing enough coverage to keep rain from dripping on my glasses. I bought this in Raven and like that it's more tailored and stylish than most other outdoors-oriented rain jackets. The sleeves are longer than I'd like but it's easy to just roll them in. And I'm not a fan of the logo on the sleeve (but then I'm not a fan of the way most outdoors companies slap logos on their outerwear). But overall, this jacket is wonderful and is also proving very useful back home in Seattle's constant rain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Waterproof I just received this jacket in syrah. I love the color, tailoring and it being very light weight. I also found the sleeves to be long, the zipper somewhat difficult to manage and the fit to be narrow in the hips. The collar is high but I was able to roll the back of it down and have it lie flat when the jacket is unzipped a bit. I usually wear a size small but ordered the medium for more room to layer a fleece etc. I think I should have ordered a large. Yesterday I was out in the pouring rain with an umbrella and there was some bleed through the jacket on the shoulders and the stretchy part of the cuffs got soaked. I think this jacket would be best in light rain and drizzle not pouring rain. Am going to try to exchange for a large and try it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great style and features! I searched many light weight rain coats and jackets. This one fit the bill. Great for travel and a hike in Hawaii. Pull cord inside to accent waist or let out for more room. Length has good coverage and a nice slit in back where it is slightly longer. Stretch material around cuff to push up or pull lower on hands. Tons more great features. Highly recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for walking in the rain... I recently purchased this jacket for walking my dog in the rain. It couldn't be more perfect. It fits well and the material has just enough stretch to allow for maximum movement. The hood stays in place and the extra coverage in the back keeps the legs dry. It's actually more stylish than it appears online as well.

Will this keep you warm in 50-60* weather?

Asked by: Canniff
This jacket is not insulated, it is simply a lightweight rain jacket. Additionally, warmth depends on many different variables including activity level, metabolism and perspiration along with the other clothing you're wearing. We suggest adding an insulating layer under the jacket in order to stay warm in colder weather.
