My best friend when I'm running
I run about 4 miles per day, 3 to 4 days per week. I used to carry my water bottle in one hand and cell phone in the other. If I put my cell phone is my running shorts, it would wobble around and throw off my rhythm. I tried on an armband but my arm would feel constricted. This belt has been my best friend. I got the one with the zipper because I feel it's safer and if the elastic opening wears out, at least you still have a zipper (the elastic opening has not worn out yet). I have an iPhone 7 in an Otterbox Defender case and it fits in the zipper compartment. It's not noticeable around my waist and covered by my shirt. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Sizes run small. Not adjustable.
The sizes run very small and it's not at all adjustable. Since my waist size changes depending on the weather, my menstrual cycle, my weight fluctuations... it's preferable to be able to adjust this with a cinch cord or zipper.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I had a running belt from Amazon before that buckled, and while I enjoyed the convenience and cheap price of that belt, it would move constantly on my hips while I was running. This FlipBelt is a hundred times better and doesn’t budge at ALL. I have worn it multiple times and it has continued to be great. It even fits my iPhone XS Max with its case on. I love the clip for a keychain, too. I wear 8-10 in women’s sizes and the Medium is perfect for me.

Gamechanger for my Runs

I'm really happy with this belt. I have a large phone and often carry my AirPods, keys, and sometimes wallet with me on runs. For a long time I just ran with my phone in my pocket (awful, I know!), but all the banging against my leg finally had me looking for another option (I don't like the bicep holder thing). This has been just the answer! Things are secure in there (just make sure you actually flip it after you get all your stuff in there) and it's comfortable to wear. I've got more of a Dad-bod than a washboard stomach, so it doesn't stay on my the way it does in their marketing videos (haha), but it settles in really nicely and you don't even notice it when putting in the miles.

Wish I bought one years ago

I lost my running belt right before my out of state half marathon and bought the FlipBelt as a last minute solution. Now, you know they say never try something new on race day… I wish I had purchased this sooner! It fit my gels and phone, didn’t ride up, itch, twist, or bother me in the least bit. The pockets were easily accessible and I didn’t miss a step while reaching for a gel. I recommend this belt to anyone needed something new!

Product is useless if sizing isn't executed well

Sizing is completely different than size chart. The single most important design feature is the sizing, because that's the key differentiator, ie no buckles etc. It's idiotic to get it this wrong. I did my research prior to purchase (considered my own waist/hip/belly measurements alongside my preference for running belt positioning) and ensured that I was ordering the correct size based on Flipbelt's own size chart from their website. Ordered the Large expecting a reasonably snug fit. Received a belt that doesn't meet their own spec, and is just loose. The circumference is 34" when unstretched, so it will only fit larger than 34". There's nowhere for it to sit on me, and I'm comfortably in the lower-middle of the stated spec range 32"-35". Terrible first impression from this brand. Thanks to REI for the refund

Keep focused on running, not what’s in hand

After reading reviews and checking out a number of different options, I decided to purchase the flipbelt and am so glad I did. It helps keep me focused on running, rather what’s in my hands, pockets, or otherwise. After putting it around my hips and loading it up, I often forget it’s there. I prefer to have it ride at my hips rather than waist, but measure what size works best based on where you want it to fit and choose a size based on that. And if you size for hips, it has enough flex to alternatively be used at the waist. Rounding out week 9 of 9 in a couch to 5k program and so happy I’ve made this purchase to support my new routine!

garbage

i liked it for the first 3 months of mild / moderate use (few times per week for road runs) until the zipper completely failed in multiple spots (teeth made of cheap plastic). thankfully was able to return it. i would not buy this product again. very poor quality. the elastic also was already getting loose. if this was $10 maybe ok but at $42?!? yeah right, do not waste your money on this.

Perfect! Just what I needed for running

Was looking for a way to keep a phone and keys with me while running trails without bouncing around in a pocket. Have used this multiple times now up to 10k. Perfect for when a water vest is not needed. Holds my phone flat without bouncing in a zip security pocket. Keys in another pocket attached to a built in key clip. Belt still offers other storage for gels or even small water flasks. The belt is also stretchy with no pinch zones, stays really comfortable the whole run. So much so I forget to take it off

Snug, Secure and Dependable

I use this for short trail runs, approximately 5-10 miles a couple times a week. I'm typically carrying my phone, keys, transit passes (I run after dropping off kids), cash and maybe a face covering. It works great. I don't feel any movement of my items and regularly forget I have the belt on. It can be a little cumbersome to pull a phone out of the rear pouches (that's where I prefer to keep my phone) but I'm sure others would be happy to have it more accessible in the zipper pouch. I bought mine on the snugger side to keep my items from jostling around, if you plan any carrying more items, think about sizing up to meet your needs, maybe even try it on at the store because you definitely don't want it too tight.

Great simple and effective item retention.

Picked this up about 3 weeks ago so I had something to hold my ID, Keys, and phone during running. I will say I picked this up based a recommendation and I am very happy that I did. I've tried all sorts of armbands and everything else just pales in comparison. All of the weight is distributed across your waist and nothing flops around.
