Fantastic Travel Shirt
I have two of these (one in carbon and another in white) and I absolutely love them. The quality of the material is great, and very well put together. The buttons can be a bit cumbersome, but nothing that shouldn't deter you from buying this product. The design is also pretty fashionable in my opinion. Unless you look closely, you really can't tell that it's activewear versus a nicer button-down shirt. They're perfect for travel situations when you know you'll be active during the day, but might not have a chance to change clothes before dinner or going out. The shirts also do not wrinkle easily and pack down to a small size so they work very well for backpacking.
Great all around travel shirt
I use this shirt when I travel. The pockets are very useful for keeping documents, with quick access via the zippered (hidden) pockets. The shirt is comfortable in changing conditions with good ventilation and roll-up sleeves with retainers. I've used the built-in glasses cloth, it works well although I find it a little odd getting that one corner correctly situated across the glasses. My only minor gripe is that the buttons are a little tight with respect to the button holes, and button material doesn't slide through the button hole as easily as I might like. On the positive side the button isn't slippery, it's just a little tight.
Nice Shirt but....
You better have the skinny fore arms of a 10 year old girl to easily roll the sleeves up. Not sure who designed this shirt, but the skinny sleeves are a definite negative feature on the shirt.
Comfortable Shirt---Terrible Buttons
The shirt fit and material are A+ but the buttons are a flexible grippy material that are impossible to fit through the button holes. The sleeves especially are a pain where you need to do it one handed. Those of you that take a personal man-servant on all travels will have no issues, the rest of us should steer clear.
Best shirt ever.
This is, quite simply, the very best shirt I've ever worn. It breathes even with no breeze on a hot, humid day. It's comfortable when wet, but dries quickly. I've worn it while working and relaxing, day and night, and it's amazing. Love the fit and the hidden collar buttons, so the collar always stays up. Tapered sleeves make sense and work and feel great. It just needs to come in more color options so I can get away with wearing it more often.
Awesome for travel and hiking
Despite the somewhat annoying buttons I love this shirt and its unique combination of nylon and polyester materials. It packs well, stays wrinkle free, is cool and protecting in the heat (love the ventilation) and can still look nice to wear for an evening meal. A quick "bath" in the sink at night, roll it up in a dry towel to wick away most of the moisture then hang it up overnight and it's like new the next morning. Love this shirt.
Design Excellence
KUHL has a great line of clothing designed with high tech materials. This shirt is a direct reflection of that. I cannot believe the thought that went into the design of this shirt. The first thing I noticed is the tailored fit of the shirt and the use of stretch material in just the right places to make the shirt as comfortable as any I have ever worn. This shirt looks great from the trail head to a night out dinning.

The sunglasses cleaning material hidden inside the bottom of the front bumped an already great shirt up to a 5-star rating.
wow, what a shirt
I have more expedition and fly fishing shirts than most people. I think this is a superior product because it is very comfortable, very light on the skin so that you can stay cool when it's warm. It washes out very nicely. I hope it's durable to last for a long time.
So far so good
This review comes early in the life of this shirt, so take it for what it is worth. After wearing the shirt three times (once on an extended walk in the sun and dry air), it meets my expectations as far as comfort, staying cool, drying fast, and looking good. I plan on traveling to India this Summer and that will be the real test.
