It's great and cool

It was time for me to buy a new mask and I figured I would give the magnemask a shot. I was afraid that the magnets would be sort of a useless gimmick, BUT NO! I love it. It fits and works perfectly with my helmet and goggles. The magnets are great. Very convenient on those days where the sun keeps jumping in and out of the clouds making the temperature variable. I highly recommend it.

Prevents foggy goggles & glasses

I use mine for paramotoring but I think it would also be great for skiing or biking. Previous balaclavas made my goggles & glasses fog when I was not moving. If I pulled down the opening on the others, it wouldn't go back to the right place when I was ready to cover up again. This one lets you get everything adjusted and then flip down the face to prevent trapped breath from fogging you up. Then when you're in the breeze again it can be easily flipped up to keep warm. Miraculous.

Tested in high winds at Snowbird--Great Product

Love this product. Tested at Snowbird where wind chill at the top put the temperature below -10 in the morning hours. Performed just as I hoped it would. No fogging either. Magnetic pull away and re-attach is well designed and highly functional. My new go-to clava and an upgrade from my smartwool clava because it's so much warmer.

Glad I bought this.

I bought this mask for a colder than usual Thanksgiving day event, and am I happy I did. It is warm though I did still wear my Mad Bomber over it, what I liked about it was the Magnetic face cover. I was able to keep my nose and exposed face warm but drop the face-mask to speak and drink when needed. No fear of losing the Face-mask as it permanently attached unlike some that I have seen. I love the out of doors even when it ids cold and this will be a nice add on to my other special cold weather gear.

Works well until it doesn’t

I used this for 40-mile winter ultramarathon. The temp before windchill was -15 F. I paired it with a goretex beanie and it kept everything warm from the neck up until it got really windy. The wind gets through the holes easily. I loved the magnet feature for ease of eating and drinking but after a few hours of absorbing my warm breath it would start to freeze when I folded the front down to eat. I would have to take off my gloves try to get the mask in position where the magnets would stick. When it froze it also began sitting lower in my nose which exposed my skin more than I’d like. I used this for 13.5 hours straight during the race. I think this is a great piece of kit for warmer temps and/or minimal time outdoors.

Great idea!

I bought three different hoods to try for my Seattle bike commute and this was one of them. I loved the idea of the magnetically attached face portion so I could pop it down for a sip of coffee on the ferry. For that, this worked perfectly. The hood portion was also really good at keeping my head warm on cold mornings. The issue I had with it was the face and nose holes were too big and while riding my bike at 18 mph my face was freezing. I tried it for a couple of days and even tried wearing a mask underneath this, but that made it terribly inconvenient. In the end, I had to return it. Overall, for activities other than biking on a cold morning, I would recommend it.

Perfect mask

Bought it last year, second ski season using it. I absolutely love it. The magnets always hold, but if I’m trying to talk to someone even for a second, I can flip it down. It’s wet by the end of the day but I never feel wetness on my face. And enough air gets in through the vents that breathing feels exactly like fresh air. It’s more expensive than other masks, but I’d legit pay double for this item. It’s that good.

Seems pretty good

I'm female and ordered the small. The head part fits nice and snug and is soft and warm. Great fit. The magnetic part is an awesome idea. It flips off and on easily. I bought it because I walk every morning and my forehead and nose gets very cold. This covers the forehead nicely. I wear glasses so that's also an issue. I wear ski goggles when I'm using the snow thrower but it's challenging when I get too much stuff on my head. Wouldn't you think in this day and age some company would make prescription ski goggles so I could eliminate one thing? I haven't had the opportunity to wear them in very cold weather yet so I cannot attest to that.

Great for skiing!

I wore this for 4 days of skiing Park City, both in warmer conditions and cold, wind and driving snow. It worked great. I did wear a cheap-o medical mask underneath for COVID compliance and it was not uncomfortable. I have used a Seirus neo-fleece mask successfully for years in combination with a fleece balaclava, but I’d have to take off my helmet to undo the mask to eat or drink. This is way more convenient. Others from Seirus I’ve tried slide down off my nose when I talk. This doesn’t. It also projects slightly off my face allowing room for my stache and beard, staying off my mouth. Air penetrates the holes more easily like this, but not enough to be uncomfortably cold. I found the fleece fit well under my helmet without overheating. I have the Thick and Thin version too - same fit, thinner dome under the helmet. I like it for the conditions and ability to drop it out of the way while snacking on the lift. Great Seirus product!

Good for outdoor work at night

I use this for lineman work in the winter. Nice to be able to pull the face mask down for phone calls or if the temp changes. The neck could have more coverage in the back, but still good.
