Finished the Leadville 100 MTB Race on this Saddle
I was training for the Leadville 100 mountain bike race (a 105 mile race with 12k feet of climbing) but kept having to take days off due to lingering saddle sores from my Specialized saddles. I was always told more padding wouldn’t fix the issue but after trying 4 different saddles, tons of chamois and creams, I gave up and decided to try this ultra padded one. It was a dream. I had to lower my seat post to account for the extra squish but after a few rides and minor adjustments this one really worked for me. I finished Leadville in a little over 13 hours on this saddle and had ZERO saddle sores. My neither regions did go numb several times but that’s been a consistent issue with me so I’m not sure if it’s even saddle related. Only thing I’d change is to maybe add a scoop/dip where our lady parts meet the saddle to reduce numbness. Otherwise I’m so happy I ignored everyone and gave this a try.

Great saddle

Excellent saddle! I was not comfortable with the one that came with my road bike, even after a year of using it. I like Terry bicycle clothing very much but had never had one of their saddles. This one has been great from the first ride.

Too much cushion
No, I do not recommend this product
Great quality saddle but way too much cushion. I bought it for longer rides in the saddles (i.e. 30 - 60 miles). By mile 25 I start to lose sensation in the nether regions. My old saddle (the one that came with the bike) wasn't comfortable, but never caused numbness down there. I feel a bit like Goldilocks. I think I need something in between the hard rock I was riding and this to get a saddle that's "just right".
