Alleviates pain/supports without being overbuilt
I bought these a week ago while recovering from a running overuse injury. My orthopedist suggested some arch support as I ease back into running. I replaced the factory insoles in two different pair of Pearl Izumi runners with these. I feel arch support without bulk, and the padding is great. Though I am not cleared to run yet, walking was immediately pain free and remains so. I believe these may be the best over the counter foot bed for running. I have used Superfeet in the past for hiking and ski boots, but they were too harsh for running. These Currex Run Pro Medium support insoles are great so far. I am looking forward to running in them, not just walking.
Great Support & Comfort, Latest Pair Delaminating
Have used for years and loved them: great support, great comfort, no effect on the performance of the shoes except to improve it. In the past they've always been extremely durable. However, the top layer is delaminating around the heel in my latest pair after about 4 months of 4-6 miles a day of mostly dog walking. I'll glue it down best I can with E6000 or the like and keep using them, but it's disappointing. Nevertheless, I highly recommend.
great results
I purchased these to replace my Superfeet. They are amazing. For the first time that I can remember, I am running half-marathon + distances without any rubbing or foot pain. I have a narrow foot and a low arch. They are definitely worth a try.
A better approach to supportive insole design
CurrexSole is doing something quite different than the old standbys of the insole market, and I think it's a better idea. I've always been skeptical of the "miracle cure" reviews for such products, but in my case I went from wondering if I had permanently damaged my feet to nearly pain free from the first few steps in these insoles, and it's continued to improve since then. I never experienced that with other products. CurrexSole takes a different approach to insole design - instead of the traditional fairly rigid, relative aggressive arch shape that is supposedly oven-moldable or use-conforming, CurrexSoles provides 3 different arch heights and a resilient type of support that allows the arch to flex naturally to absorb shock, but in a controlled way. The fitting process measures arch height, not just arch length, so the sole starts out better optimized to your foot shape. I discovered in fitting the CurrexSoles that my older insoles had too high, too rigid, and too extensive of an arch that was slowly irriating the nerves in my foot, but that initially did not feel that way...rather, it felt "supportive". Feet change over time, and favorite insoles can stop working. It's critically important to understand what type of insole your feet need. That can involve a lot of experimentation if not a visit to a podiatrist. In my case, I learned that a sole that works with the natural mechanisms of your foot, rather than attempts to replace them, is where you should start.
plantar fasciitis
I purchased these insoles about a month ago. I have more relief than after 2 visits to podiatrist. Have been suffering for about 18 months but have hope again!
Hiking, running, and festival shoes are now GOLD!
For all long-wear shoes... I have a pair in my running shoes, hiking boots, and festival platform boots - all of which get hours of use with out mercy. These insoles make several hours of something uncomfortable very, very do-able. Very recommended, especially after trying them in-store and comparing them to all the other brands. This fit and feel was and is a no brainer. Worth it.
Great product for rucks and runs
Replace my sock need ride 13 insoles with these guys I really revive the shoe. Also coincidentally I’ve been using these guys for long ruck marches or ruck training.
great insole recommended for trails
I recently began walking a trail that’s built on the side of a hill. I am impressed by the fact that my knees and feet don’t hurt even after stepping down hard from steep steps. I credit these insoles. They also keep my feet much cooler. Go by the shoe size of your athletic shoe on the size chart.
CurrexSole insole review
These insoles gave me a lot more cushion while hiking with merrell low top boots.
Great Support, Short Lifespan
These insoles are very comfortable and provided excellent support, alleviating some of the pain I was experiencing on the bottom of my foot. The only issue is that the lining on top of the insole began to wear down after 2-3 months of use, exposing some of the padding near the toes.
