Comfy but Slippery
I use this with a 2 inch thick Thermarest. I can insert it into the sleeping pad cover but it does take a little effort and a usually don't bother. I like it on top for the comfort but it is slippery. My pillow keeps falling off the pad. It also slides around on my pad. I have even tried using straps to keep it in place. I like it for extra cushioning & insulation but I wish the cover wasn't so slick. It packs fairly small and I want more padding as the years go by so I am glad to have it.
supreme comfort for car camping
I paired this with my Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Ultra Sleeping Pad. I have seen an increase in warmth, comfort, and durability thanks to the cover. ( It also shows a lot less dirt and is easier to wash )

The most comfortable pad for my sleeping mat... It's a little heavy so not for ultra lite but great for car camping and it does pack up pretty small and light enough for a few mile hike to the campsite etc... Slept like a baby... also is great for guest in the house that are crashing if you don't have enough beds...
