I bought this in 2014 it's been on two deploymentS the bags been drug dropped tossed and left in the elements of Afghanistan I stored almost all 12 month of my deployments inside it now in 2016 it's starting to show it's wear so this bag is worth the change
The bag feels like high quality and the material much tougher/ water " proof " than expected . Decent shoulder straps will be great in the airport or wherever I lug this thing. Very pleased.
I own two of these bags. They are tough as nails and great for carrying tons of gear. Both of mine have the grab handles on the ends which some folks complained were not on the new model.
Purchased for Mountaineering trip to Utah and Mt Rainier, it fits everything. Great build quality.
