I'll never sleep on the ground again!
I got this after a recommendation from a few other hikers, and I am so happy that I did. It is easy to setup and take down. In my opinion weighs no more than most tents, and provides an amazingly refreshing sleep while out on the trail. The bug net does a fantastic job of keeps the creep crawly things off of you while you snooze away, and the rainfly makes for a great cover if you are ever caught in a passing shower. While this specific hammock is designed for 2 people it works just as well when being used for an individual. I just take the extra fabric and wrap it around myself to form a cocoon.
Hang up sleeping on the ground.
I got this system in place of a new tent as i wanted to see what it would be like to go hammock camping, and man im glad i did. Everything in this system and set up is well thought out and very easy to set up and take down. the rain fly works well in rain and even downpours. it is a great three season solution to rocky or very unlevel terrain. it also has plenty of room for two, and is a great solution to the renegade backpackers looking for a light compact sleeping system to throw in the car and just go. the only thing i would recommend is buying a mattress or an underquilt if you are going to be camping over 9,000 feet as it tends to get rather cold at night. Me and my girlfriend use it together and find that without a mattress it is impossible and we highly recommend the Klymit Hammock V insulated pad for the most comfortable nights rest.
Great night sleeping
This setup is great. Very easy and quick to set up. Like others have said I recommend an under quilt. It really makes it comfortable and I have found that to be much better than a sleeping pad. I recently camped for several nights at 8000 feet with this set up and was ver comfortable. Only caution is that places in some states wont allow you to tie hammocks to the trees. Ran into this issue in some locations in Colorado.
ENO Tent
This is an awesome replacement for a stake down tent. My only recommendation is to have a lighter hammock for warm nights.
