Almost Perfect for Bikepacking
This design is awesome for bikepacking. I have the 12L and the 8L. They easily strap over my handle bars without disrupting any cables or getting in the way of my line of sight. They also don't bounce around hardly at all (they don't move at all when I added an extra strap around everything). The one downside to this is it isn't a drysack. This same design should be turned into a waterproof style for bikepackers.

Flimsy clips - broke on first use
Purchased this compression sack to reduce the pack size of my Klymit KSB 20 sleeping bag (12L uncompressed). Pulled the straps 3.25" (of a possible 11") & one of the clips snapped.

Meh

I've used many compression sacks, and tried this one because of its width. I thought it would fit better on the outside of my pack. I used it for my Nemo Fusion sleeping bag (30 degree). Stuffing it was easy, but then zipping the wide mouth was often challenging and I felt like I needed another hand to hold the zip together while I pulled the zip. I also felt like it didn't compress as much as a traditional sack because of the two straps pulling around like a belt. With in the 3 weeks of using it, the label tore off. Probably wouldn't chose this one again.

The "Perfect" Compression Sack for a Sleeping Bag!

Most compression sacks for sleeping bags compress from end-to-end. This is little or no help when you're wanting to attach it on the outside of your pack. THIS compression sack was perfect! I bought it to just the right size so that my sleeping bag "just fits" inside it. Then I compress the diameter, and "that" fits inside a smaller all weather cover, to keep the sleeping bag dry. I love this compress sack!

Good for packs without a sleeping bag compartment

I bought this because I downsized my pack to a lighter version without a dedicated sleeping bag compartment. This really helps to compress my load without adding a lot of weight. I also lash my sleeping pad with the straps, so my whole sleep set-up is contained in this system, and I can load my pack with my other gear without working around my bulging bag. I think it's great!

great organizational bags

We use these on family camping trips to organize all our stuff. I love that they unzip wide rather than traditional stuff sacks that require removing everything to get to the bottom.

Squeeze-it

I squeezed my synthetic filled sleeping bag into this and it compressed perfectly! The wide opening makes it so easy to throw stuff in for squeezing.

Just what I wanted.

This sack worked just as I needed it to. It has nice big capacity and easy to use straps for tightening. Most importantly for me: The first time I used it for bikepacking I got rained on quite a bit with this strapped to my back rack, and everything inside stayed dry.

Really squishes well!

I love this thing. I use it for backpacking and for general travel. I put t-shirts, socks, and underwear in it and then pull the compression straps hard. It reduces the size substantially and is a real space-saver.

Osprey Compression Sack 12L

I use this for my 2 person tent, it keeps a nice flat profile so when I attach it to by bag I can fit my rain cover over everything perfectly. I would recommend this for sure.
