Storm Break 3 Footprint
Easily 5/5 Stars. I purchased the North Face Storm Break 3 Footprint to go along with my North Face Storm Break 3 Tent, fits flawlessly. Red tab indicates which side to match up with tent. The aluminum tent poles pair up perfectly with the footprint. Easily rolls up with tent and poles back into storage bag.

Acceptable
I had been using a tarp as my tent footprint. I finally decided to purchase the footprint for the tent because it would be lighter, and I was growing tired of folding the tarp underneath the floor edges of the tent. I was expecting this to fit like a glove under my stormbreak 3 tent, and it does not. Even after securing it through the tent poles (over or under the tent floor loop) it seems loose. The most disappointing thing was that the footprint still slightly sticks out the bottom of the tent floor. Luckily it didn't rain or I think I would have had a huge problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Am I overthinking this and doing something wrong with my set up? Also, does the one red strap need to match the other red strap on the tent? I have never understood this.

Must have item!!!

Not only does it protect your tent floor but it actually makes setting up your tent a million times easier when you stake it out first. It's expensive and actually really nice so I paired it with a $7 6x8 Ozark Trail tarp from Walmart to add extra protection but I'm weird about taking care of all my high quality gear lol

Ok for protecting tent floor, not so good for rain

Did a good job of protecting the bottom of my tent from dirt and debris. However, it rained and I ended up with a puddle on top of footprint under my tent. Thankfully the tent itself did not leak.

Works as it should

Works as it should but I think the fabric should be thicker. It is the same tickness as the rest of the tent.

I personally find the Stormbreak 3 footprint necessary to help protect your tent. I bought this when I was in the US and used the tent for the first time in the Philippines where rain happens every now and then. It rained the first time I used the tent and as expected, the footprint helped keep the dirt/mud away from the bottom of the tent.

An absolute must-have

I use the footprint like anybody else would, to keep my back dry when I sleep and to prevent my tent's bottom from taking any unnecessary wear and tear! I use it for my stormbreak 3 tent and it fits like a glove. This was honestly one of the smarter purchases I've made in the last few years!

Peace of Mind

This things is great. It's made specifically for my Stormbreqker 3 and is the exact size. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the floor of my tent is protected from the ground. The footprint folds up small enough to fit in my tent back with evetything else. This is a no-brainer.

Homestead 2 footprint

The footprint works very well with protecting my tent (investment). I would have to say, however, the only downside would be the cost. I'm sure a cheaper tarp would also do just fine.

Garbage, buy a starp

This is a total waste of money. It doesn’t fit great for the prices and is poor quality for $45, I wouldn’t pay $20 for this get rushing it. Save the hassle and cut a $5 tarp to size
