Handy Extra Space
I liked my first Gas Tank so much I bought another as someone else liked my first too! This is a very sturdy frame bag which provides handy storage for snacks / phone / keys, wallet, water bottle, etc. It's large enough to actually hold things you need and is easy to access on the go. It easily attaches/detaches if you do not want to leave it on the bike.

Flops around on bike.
The compartment is small. There is a divider inside which make the compartment even smaller. Finally, the bag flops around on top of the frame.

Keeps small items readily accessible

I bought this frame bag to use on my touring bike. It works great. I don’t use the divider as it makes the space too small of bars and other snacks. I have used it for about 3 weeks on a tour and works as advertised. I also carry a small camera. I have also used it to carry a small cable lock when I have gone into town after riding. When I stop and get off the saddle I had to adjust where I position myself on the top bar as the bag could get in the way. Glad I bought it before this trip

Held Up In 6 Hour Rains

I purchased this ahead of a 6 hour adventure race I did. It rained the entire time I raced and this bag held up great. I threw a little bit of gear and a bunch of food in so this thing will hold more than you think! There was some water in the bag but given that it was raining I can't say for sure if the water leaked in. More than likely it was from me digging around during transitions. The bag fit nicely and very secure on my hardtail 29er and didn't swing about. Unzipping and zipping was super easy and was a one-hand operation. Would definitely buy more bags from this Alaska outfit.

Revelate continues to impress

I liked the gas tank bag so much that I ordered three more for all of my bikes. In addition I also have the Terrapin seat bag, the Sweetroll for up front, and a frame pack for my hard tail, ALL highly recommended. The gas tank holds my spare tube, CO2 cartridges and inflator, multi tool and mini pump. I have done three and four-day/night trips with Revelate gear in sun and rain (and mud), and these products perform flawlessly. Highly recommended!

Great bag but it flops to the side

This bag is very handy for chapstick, sunscreen, and snacks. The problem is the front strap that attaches to the stem does not keep the bag from tipping to the side. Then my knee brushes against the bag when riding out of the saddle. It is a perfect bag location for items that need easy access while riding.

Does what you'd imagine

Got this for my commuter and it's now on my touring bike. The geometry is definitely made for bikepacking bikes. So it's not a snug fit for either of my bikes. And as others mentioned, it does slightly flop around (I think because it's not meant for my bikes). That said, I do like it! I can fit my wallet, keys, iPhone 7, chapstick, and some sort of snack.

Great Bag, But a Little Small

This is a great tank bag, but does have some limitations. I returned this bag for 2 reasons... first, I wanted something larger to hold my phone, packable jacket, wallet, etc. It was too small to hold those items. Second, the zipper is a bit challenging to use on the fly. I went with Mag tank bag, which is much easier to access while riding. Again, it is a great bag, just not what I was looking for.

Needed another top tube bag for next big bike packing trip. Regular supplier was back ordered, so I went with the Revelate. Glad I did, especially like the 2 zippers for ease of getting stuff in and out of the bag. Very well made.

Won't stay put

I put it on my gravel bike with a short steerer tube and it would not stay put. I put it on my road bike and it fared a little better, but still has to be adjusted every few miles. Will probably return.
