Mirror coating flaked off, sent to Burton and they wouldn't do anything, not even a replacement discount because it's only 1 year warranty. For a premium price/product would expect Burton to stand behind their product longer than a year.
I purchased a pair of M2 goggles for a trip to the Rockies. I liked that they fit over my glasses and that they had a larger field of vision than my old Figments. After a great day on the mountain I found that my spare lens had cracked while in the goggle pocket of my backpack. Trying to be more careful with the second lens I stored it in an upper breast pocket when I switched it out. That lens cracked as well. The material they’re using for the lenses is too rigid and can’t handle any flex. This product is not up to the demands of mountain sports.
both lenses (dark and Yellow) have lost there outer coating and not usable at this point. Maybe Used this 10 times total (1 time for dark lense)
Far superior to the M1s when it comes to changing lenses without having to take the frame off your face. As the M1s were far superior to all other options before it, this goggle is, well, great. I don't know why this color (Black) frame is less expensive than other M2 options. Save your money and buy an extra pair of lenses (such as the Red Gradient for very sunny days or Amber for overcast days).
The magnetic lenses and face guard are easy to use even with mittens. Great veriety of additional lenses for all light conditions. I am now officially spoiled.
