Garbage. Ripped on the First Use
Picked up this stuff sack to help organize dirty clothing while out camping. It tore on the first use! All I did was put clothing into the bag, and push it down ever so slightly and the weak seams split immediately. This was without force or anything. Will be returning this ASAP.
Ripped on first trip
Just like Steve, this mesh bag ripped for me on the first use, while I was putting a shirt and a pair of socks into it. I bought two of them, but will be returning both due to the shoddy construction.
Perfect for Food
I got this to keep all of my food in one place in my pack and it worked out great. The mesh is too fine to see through effectively, but did the job.
Mesh Stuff Sack
I exchanged a 9 liter Sea to Summit Stuff (not) Sack for the REI 8 liter mesh stuff sack after the S2S recommended by the mfg of my backpacking float tube tore within the mesh the second time I tried to (roll up and) "stuff" the tube into. The REI mesh stuff sack weighs negligibly more but is much more durable. The 8 liter size is almost identical to the 9 liter S2S and the tube fits, but I do wish it came in a 9 to 10m liter size
Keeps My Camp Kitchen In Order
I bought this to shave some weight carrying my Snow Peak Titanium Pot, Stove and fuel; it replaced a slightly heavier Outdoor Research mesh bag which in turn replaced the bag that Snow Peak provided. So far so good; time will tell how well it holds up in the field. My first requirement of less weight has been met :-)
Used for Ski Skins
I bought the 3 liter bag (5 liter was too big) to use to carry my backcountry ski skins. I have size 188 skis that are 105 wide and the Black Diamond ascention skins just barely fit but that was perfect for what I was looking for. I also appreciate that it is mesh so it will somewhat allow my skins to dry out.
chipmunk liked it too
Nice size and the see through mesh was useful for finding things. However. On our first camp trip we walked away for a few minutes and a chipmunk chewed through it to get to trail mix stored inside. Had to throw it out
Exactly what I need for my day hike bag.
An REI course instructor demonstrated what she puts in her bag for short hikes (headlamp, emergency blanket, etcetera) inside this, and it seemed a cheap and usable choice, so I bought one too.
12 L Perfect size for clothing
I bought this a few weeks ago and used it on a 3 day hike. It is a great size, cheap and you can pack it around gear in your pack.
Durable. Dependable.
