Great for Travel.

I am in long term recovery from a severe leg break and needed something to help relieve pain and tension in my feet due to collapsed arches/lack of proper use. I made two purchases and this ball is one of them. Pros: compact/great for travel; doubles as a neck and back massager against a wall; good for increasing mobility in ankle; great pressure in localized ares. Cons: very firm, hard plastic that has no give and easily slips away from you on non-carpeted or exercise mat surfaces. I also got the GoFit Foot and Hand Massage Roller and prefer that one out of the two.

Wow!! This is awesome!

I just purchased this in Boulder CO last week while I was on a hiking/skiing trip. I've had plantar fasciitis on my right heel for over a year with no relief and I've tried tennis balls ect. I stumbled across this gem after discussing it with a staff member there and he recommended it. The first time in over a year I've had any relief from the pain. I'm going to by another and keeps at my office. Best is to soak your foot in warm water then use the ball, almost immediate relief! Thank you REI!

A great tool to help Plantar Faciitis

After spending months and a lot of money at the Podiatrist with no success, I am finally starting to see results on my own using 2 simple and inexpensive techniques: 1st, I started taping my foot with Kenisiology tape. This provides a little support throughout the day but by itself won't fix the problem. 2nd, and what I think has provided the most relief, is the use of these deep tissue massage balls. I bought two them and keep one at my desk at work and one by my bed. I roll my food over it with as much pressure as I can stand for 3 minutes 3-4 times a day and in the morning and before I go to bed. It hurt a lot the first week of doing this but now my foot is getting used to it and my pain is nearly gone! It's worth a try if you haven't given this method a go. Plus, you aren't spending a ton of money for someone else to give you a deep tissue massage. Not to mention that these things just feel good no matter where you use them.

Good investment

Very easy to use. Not too hard hurting yourself, but not too soft for maximizing result. Rolling on floor for few minutes daily while watching TV, social media on your phone, etc, brings you better recovery from tired foot. Small time, small money, and great results.

Small but mighty!

Absolutely perfect. I run every morning and keep this under my (dining room table /home desk) to massage my feet during the day. The size, texture, and firmness are simply perfect to massage my arches, plantar fascia, and the balls of my feet. This is one of the smartest purchases I have ever made.

Great for anyone with Plantar Fasciitis

I have plantar fasciitis which gets exacerbated on Backpacking trips. This little helped tremendously when at camp at night and in the morning when I woke up/before we set out for the next campsite. Would highly recommend!!!

Great massage tool for my feet

I have A LOT of massage tools for my feet. I even teach a foot workshop called FIT FEET. This has become one of my favorite massage tools for my feet. It's firm and stimulating and the perfect size (haha, that's NOT what I'm talking about!)

Feels good under your foot, doesn't do much else.

My doctor told me to buy this ball to relieve foot pain and it did not help it at all after more than a month of daily use twice daily. But you know...it feels good to roll under your foot so I am keeping it even if it does not do anything. It's also a good way to relieve nervous energy when you are talking to someone or preparing a document. In fact, I am rolling it right now at the desk while I am writing this review.

Amazing

I use this when I travel and while at home. It's great because it breaks down the crunchys in my feet. Great if you have foot problems.
