Huge size range.

This harness would be great for people with thicker hips and thighs. I personally fall in the top end of Medium for most sizes, and bought size 1. When completely expanded, the waist band is 46". When completely cinched, the waist band is 26". (The paded section is 25") Also, with adjustable buckles on both sides means that the middle loops will always be centered, even when worn at larger sizes. The leg holes range from 27" to 18" The actual padded secion is 15".

Great update to the Corax

Great features allowing for any end use, from gym climbing to ice climbing. Excellent first harness with plenty of adjustability for larger sizes, high quality materials and construction compared to other harnesses at similar price. Very comfortable, durable, and overbuilt.

There Are Only Two Top Dogs

If you are a Beginner or someone with unusual "dimensions" BY A MILE the only two harnesses you should consider are this one and the Black Diamond Momentum 4S. The double waist adjustments mean you can "center" the belay loop regardless of your waist size; and the leg loop adjustments mean you can get snug but comfortable. I am one of those people who marches to the beat of my own drum, so I picked this one because everyone ELSE at my Gym wears Black Diamond harnesses.

Great Harness

I got this to use for top roping indoors. This is the first harness I have purchased and so far I love it. It is super comfortable and easy to adjust. It’s lightweight but it’s sturdy enough that I feel supported when I’m on the wall or on the ground belaying.

Sturdy, but not the right fit

As with most of Petzl's line, from my experience, this is a solid harness and seems like it would offer a good range of motion. Thought technically a unisex cut, I found that the waistband gaped considerably at the back even when tightened appropriately and I'll be returning it for that reason. So, if you're on the curvier side, this may not lay flat against your waist / back. Understandably given all the points of adjustment, this is one of the heavier harnesses. It is, however, well constructed and I appreciated the leg loop adjustments.

Eminently adjustable and forgiving climbing harnes

Very comfortable, and exceptionally adjustable. This may not be the lightest harness out there, but it is very forgiving fit-wise. I came to climbing late, and am already an avid road cyclist. Given the size of my thighs, though I could technically wear the size 1 harness, I bought the 2 out of concern that future training will blow my legs up even more. This was a good decision, as I'm at top of range for fit on the 1, but have adjustability and the slack to use it on the 2, while easily getting a comfortable and safe fit at the waist. Further, Petzl is wise enough to sew in extra elastic retention loops further back on the harness, so your poly strap ends aren't flying about all willy-nilly... Kind of important when you've got so much adjustability! This harness is far more comfortable to use and even stand around in than any I've ever rented. Further, you have four gear loops (two stiff, two floppy,) to carry any accessories you might need for lead climbing, ice climbing, caving, etc. I'm very happy with this purchase, and after having used the harness quite a lot in the last couple weeks, I can say that I haven't noticed any stretching at all, nor wear.

Great Harness

Highly adjustable & easily forgot even after hours on the wall. I've taken this on everything from top ropes to multi-day multi-pitch climbs & it does everything you want it to!
