Works Great with Tile Mate

I bought these to attach my Tile Mate, the non-pro one with the replaceable battery, to all of my key chains because I didn’t want to try to squeeze it on to a ring. These are PERFECT. They fit in the hole perfectly, I love that both sides lock.

2 styles on market

I have seen 2 styles on the market, one that locks closed and one that does not lock. I like the one that locks closed better.

Not stainless

Apparently not good in a beach area. Totally rusted after two weeks.

Thank you for reaching out to us at Nite Ize. We are sorry to see the trouble you are having with the S-Biner corroding. Now while this is stainless steel, even stainless steel can corrode when near a lot of salt water, like being outside by the beach constantly. We would be happy to help you out with this by sending a replacement and going through the different replacement options. Just reach out to us via email at info@niteize.com and we will help make sure you are taken care of.

keeps small things findable

In the past I didn't like the design of the S-Biner because it could be bumped open so easily. The new design is a great improvement. It can now be locked close so the items don't fall out. Not meant for life dependent holding tasks.

Reliable Carabiner

I use it for my house keys and car keys. Easy separation to keep things organized and surprisingly cheaper to buy at REI than amazon when I picked it up in store. My one con is that the small locking mechanisms on it might not lock sometimes when you lock them and just get stuck and stay unlocked. Though I’ve only had that happen when I unclipped it from a bag it was connected to and threw into my pocket.

More comforting than a standard clip

I used the cheap REI carabiners for 14 years, but the newer ones tended to have the spring pop out more frequently. I got this so I would not lose anything. The locks are nice, but they need their own locks. I did have some stuff pop out in my pocket once, so I had to tie the lock on the lower clip. Other than that, having a separate easy clip for the belt loop and for the keys is convenient.

Love Nite Ize but don’t recommend this product

I have purchased Nite Ize products before and they are great. I recommend things I love to friends and family if they work out for me. After the first week, one of the plastic piece broke off and the other plastic piece won’t stay lock. I got this for my work keys because I absolutely can’t loose them. I was excited to find out Nite Ize has the Runoff waterproof bags but after this experience I don’t know if I can trust this company. Now I’m shopping for a new idea for my keys and a way to keep my electronics absolutely waterproof.

Great product if it had been complete

Didn't notice until I went to use the slide locks that one of the "slide locks" was missing, so the S-Biner only 1/2 as useful. Since I'm no where near the REI (stationed overseas) I guess I'll just have to be vigilant as to whether it is secure or not. I'm wondering if someone lost one of their locks and just liberated one from the S-Biner I purchased. :-(
