- Bindings are simple to use and lock tight around boots for all-day stability and control
- Carbon steel instep crampons maximize weighted traction for better grip and responsiveness; curved traction rails ensure superior side-hill grip in hard or icy conditions
- Flex Tails absorb shock from the heel strike and allow snowshoes to have a more natural stride from heels to toes, reducing the amount of stress on joints
- Designed to shed snow off the tails so there's less work involved; rotation limiters prevent forward over-rotation
- Decks feature torsional flex that allows traction elements to stay in contact with the snow on uneven terrain
- Molded snow brakes in the decks' strike zone improve weighted traction
- In powder conditions, Flex Jr. snowshoes are best for kids 40–90 lbs.; in packed or variable snow conditions they're appropriate for all weights
- Snowshoes measure 17 x 7 in.

Almost perfect
Great shoes, great float, easy to put on. We tried the MSR shift kids snowshoes prior, but the bindings were unbuckling themselves every 5 minutes (and they’re a huge pain to re-buckle with gloves in the high peaks). Also quite dangerous and irritating to step out of a shoe at a 40-50 degree grade. Traded the MSR’s for Tubbs, and so happy we did. The back binding held tight through all the miles. The front binding does loosen up every quarter mile or so, but it’s so easy to tighten. 4/5 only due to the fact I had to constantly watch my sons feet to check if they needed to be tightened. If they improve the toe binding these would definitely be 5/5.
