Looks like I have competition. Ingo has claimed the rocking chair. Comfie enough for cat. I'm not sure I would want it to have deep seating. But concerned it makes you sit forward. It is nice to lounge on. Not sure about its longevity because I just got it. Would be great for camping. Last one had a broken lift handle and was scuffed from store using it as display. Glad they ordered me another one thus honoring sale price and delivered to my home.
Me and my wife bought a set and absolutely loved them, up until mine broke out of the blue. We use them while sitting outside with friends hosting BBQs’ never took them anywhere but our house and mine just randomly broke. Super disappointed because we really loved these chairs and always got compliments on them. I was literally just sitting in it rocking and the back rest bar support just broke. Honestly it could have been a manufacturing flaw or something because my wife’s is still working perfectly, but they are expensive chairs for mine to just break like it did. I am 6 ft 240lbs. Great chair before it broke honestly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Influenster and GCI outdoor for sending me this GCI Outdoor Freestyle Rocker to try. It’s a great outdoor chair, very sturdy and can rock smoothly. I love that the seat is wide, so it’s very comfortable. It’s made with quality material. I think it will last me a long time. The slate color is very pretty! It’s easy to fold. It’s delivered to me in a box and no assemble required. This chair also has beverage holder which is helpful. It also has handle for carrying around. The only thing that concerns me is it’s a bit too heavy to carry around, about 12 lbs (5.4 kg). It doesn’t take much space in the car. The size is 24.75 x 24.5 x 34 in (63 x 62 x 86.36 cm) when open and 5.5 x 24.5 x 34 in (14 x 62 x 86.36 cm) when folded. Overall I think this is a nice, awesome quality outdoor chair, great and perfect for outdoor trip, camping or tailgating!
While the chair is comfortable it is a shame they do not stand by their product. After having for only a year the seams on one of my chairs totally disintegrated. The folks in warranty told me to kick rocks as it is normal “wear and tear”. If disintegrating is a years time is not a manufacturer defect than I don’t know what is. Don’t by these if you want to waste your money in only a years time. What a shame GCI! Do better!

I have this rocker, it is built nicely with one problem. The stitches that hold it together is a low quality and with in a year or two it starts coming apart fast. See 4 pics below for comparison. I'm on my second camping trip and 5 trips fishing at the lake (no salt water) . I do not recommend this rocker do to its performance in camping.
The chairs are everything they state but not meant to be left outdoors. The fabric weathered and dry rotted rather quickly. For the price of them, you would expect better. We bought 4 matching XL Rockers and they all did the same thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rocker chair is such good sturdy quality and sits so comfortably! It has a handy cup holder and folds up so easily! I cannot wait to use this while watching my daughter play soccer! Now I just need one for my husband! 😊
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super exited to try this freestyle rocker. It’s a very nice rocker, I love the color and that fact that it has a cup holder and of course the fact that it rocks! I do wish the cup holder was up higher and although I am confident that the chair is sturdy I don’t know how sturdy it felt when I was sitting on it. The seat does sit up a little high which actually makes it very easy to get out of and the fabric seems very durable! Overall this chair is great and I definitely thing it’s worth the price! I can’t wait to take it to baseball games and relax and rock in it.
I have had my freestyle rocker for 9 years. The most important feature to me is comfort, this chair is by far the most comfortable chair for sitting long periods of time. It is well constructed, and easy to fold up and put in my car trunk or back seat. I use my chair five days a week for work,it finally let loose at the seams rendering the chair unusable. GCI's lifetime warranty is very good! I sent photos of the chair and described the problem. Just a few days later I received an email that a new chair was being shipped! GCI has my 100% loyalty,I have told many people about the chairs and the solid company that produces them. If you want the best made comfortable chair this is the company you want to deal with.
It's nice. Rocks more smoothly than I expected. Folks easily. Perfectly comfortable for car camping. Seems to be decent quality for the price. It wasn't super-comfortable after sitting awhile, but that might have been a clue I should get up.
