My daughter is truly excited with this jacket
When I first saw it , I thought oh my gosh this is only gonna be used for Fall and Spring; however, thanks to the early Winter, we are having temperatures as low as 35 degrees. She wore it immediately after taking it out the package. She has been wearing it to school daily even in the variants weather with a light sweater. It's great for rainy days too. De

She wore it straight out of the package She has been wearing it daily since. It's perfect; it accommodates heavy clothing making it really flexible. I initially thought it would only suffice for Spring and Fall; however, the early Winter afforded us the opportunity to put it to the test. It has kept her warm in 30 degrees weather
Daughter Loves it!
At first glance my daughter turned up her nose - until she tried it on. The fleece side of the jacket is SUPER soft, and the taffeta side seems enough of a weather breaker for Utah. She wishes it had a hood, and I wish it had a little more insulation, but I think it's perfect for knocking around town and getting to school. Too light for skiing, unless you layer up. She also likes the way it looks on, it's more fitted. Overall good purchase, but would be better if it was windproof.

I am one happy customer. This was my first time ever ordering North Face. My daughter absolutely loves it.. It is so pretty and the best part is it is reversible. The shipping was sooner than they had told me. I was happy about that because it was a super cold week in Ohio. Also I had a great experience with customer experience. When I called to place order the representative was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable about the product. I am hoping to receive some kind of discounts or coupons in the future. Runs small :-(
My Daughter, age 10 normally a size 14, is slim and the sizing chart identified that we should purchase the L jacket, which barely fit. She was wearing only a short sleeved t-shirt when she tried the jacket on and it just fit, just able to be zipped. Unfortunately, TNF did not have the XL available, though they did when we ordered the original jacket, bummer. We had to go to another online retailer where we did find the jacket in the color and size she wanted. The jacket is beautiful and a great quality so I would recommend this to a friend, but would say to absolutely ORDER A SIZE UP despite what the Size Chart may indicate.
LOVE this Jacket
This is the second of these I have bought. I bought the toddler size for my little girl and loved the jacket so much for her that I bought her big sister one. Its so soft, it washes well- its warm and comfy in the carseat unlike some of the puffier jackets out there. Its just a great fit for our girls (and our son, too). I highly recommend this jacket- my toddler is wearing hers for the second year now and its perfect! I do wish that there was a hooded version for the bigger kids, too- because trying to get them to put on a hat (AND not lose the hat!) can be a battle- a hood would be so useful! Otherwise, I think we will soon be an entire family of Mossbud Swirl-wearers!
Mossbud jacket for 7 year old girl in LA area
This jacket is absolutely perfect for the climate here in South Pasadena, Ca. It keeps my daughter warm in the mornings (39-60 degree range) and when used with a sweater, it offers ample protection when it occasionally rains. The Mossbud series for girls is flexible for movement, durable, warm, cute and it reversible depending on weather conditions.
Great jacket!
Very soft and comfy, and the colors are great. Both of my daughters fell in love with these jackets as soon as they put them on. The reversability is great - one of them likes the fleece side on the outside, and the other one likes the feel fleece on the inside. My kids are 7 and 8, are on the small/average size and the small was not roomy enough so we went with the medium and it fits great! We just have to roll the sleeves up a little - not a big deal! I would go a size up if you want some extra growing room and/or room for bulky clothes like a sweater or sweatshirt.
