Tiger Tail USA  The Classic Muscle Massager - 18 in.

I've had this for quite some time and use it on occasion. It's fine at putting pressure on sore muscles, but the issue I have is that it doesn't roll smoothly. When you put a lot of pressure on the handles and slowly roll along a muscle, it gets 'stuck' and the rolling action is very choppy. It's fine if you roll back and forth quickly, but sometimes you have to roll slow with a lot of pressure. There aren't bearings in the handles, it's one solid stick that goes through the hollow roller part. I've thought about trying to spray some lubricant, but don't know if it'll help.

I've been having really tight hamstrings and calves and it started to pull my achillies. A regular foam roller works as well but this is so much more convenient and works just as well if not better since you don't need floor space to do it. I'm feeling better and loving the Tiger Tail.

I got this to add to a collection of recovery items I have. I was excited to get it but there is one big flaw I've noticed (felt). As you start rolling, the roller gets stuck somewhere inside and its not smooth at all. Its like they forgot to grease the inside of the roller and it catches on something. You can obviously push through it but it does feel weird. I think it gets the job done but its a annoying doing it.

This massager is ok, but not my favorite. It is comfortable and sized just right, but the rolling has a little bit more drag that another brand that I have. I hope that with continued use that it becomes easier to roll. However, this is very effective and I love the grip that it has. Most importantly, it fits in my gym bag and I can take it anywhere.

After looking at Tiger Tails and similar rollers for years and thinking I could make one cheaper I finally bought one with my dividends. It works great, and now I regret not getting one sooner. It really does a good job working out sore spots. This is a must have item if you go hard at just about any sport or exercise!

After trying one of the massagers with plastic knobby bumps, I exchanged it for this, and have no regrets. This roller does the same thing but is more effective without the pain-causing knobs!

Bought this to replace cheap roller bought off amazon. This one is smooth rolling (still a little choppy at times). The most noticable difference is the stiffness compared to the other one I owned. This one allows you to really apply firm pressure theoughout the travel.

Easy to use and very helpful of getting knots out! Love the product. Pro: good amount of padding on the roller and grips easy. Con: I wish the padding could be switched out for different styles and hardest.

I love my Tiger Tail! I bought mine a few months ago and absolutely love it. It applies consistent pressure and is super easy to clean. Highly recommend using this for legs both before and after a work out.

Hands down the best recovery tool for the runner. I use this regularly and it is a life saver. Helps massage those sore legs and speeds recovery, highly recommended.
