When you are as bald as I am, you need this beanie
I recently hiked Register Ridge trail to Mt. Baldy on a very cold and windy day, using my old beanie, which did not do its job and kept riding up above my ears and so on. I decided I needed to replace the old washed out beanie with a new Jim beanie. I am glad I did, a recent hike up San Gorgonio had winds upward to 25mph and temps were in the high 20's all day. This beanie stayed put and kept my bald head nice and comfy.
A good choice for the well endowed head
I’m pleased with this beanie to cover my xl noggin. It’s not too warm, so I can leave it on inside without my head catching on fire. Texturally it is soft, not itchy, and it has a good elasticity without being skull-crushing. A good and handsome beanie.
Great Winter Headwarmer
I have a large collection of beanies, and this is definitely my favorite. It keeps my head plenty warm below freezing, and isn't too bad just over freezing. It does start get a little warm in the 50s, especially when active. It's very comfortable and pretty lightweight. It doesn't keep the water out, but even wet it retains heat well. I would definitely buy it again.
Perfect for me
Live in Utah, smaller head, temps to the teens. Have plenty of beanies including an expensive alpaca one and sooner or later than all itch or not warm enough. Plus I like the style that doesn’t fold up at the rim. I’m walking or working in the snow, or going out. Not skiing. This is not your puff ball on the top beanie. It’s double layered on the inside so it acts like the ones that fold up but doesn’t look like it. Warmer than any of my other synthetic beanies and doesn’t itch

I currently live in the Northeast of the United States, and I'm putting the beanie through this winter season and it hasn't let me done! It is warm, comfortable, and fits my head great. You can tell the beanie is good quality when you feel it in your hands. I would definitely buy again and recommend to family and friends!
Excellent Insulation, Comfortable, and Durable

It's the most comfortable hat Ive ever had, and I take it off and on a hundred times a day, so the durable stitching has dine its job well. Great Hat!
Turquoise, NOT Shady Blue
The color of the beanie I received is not close to matching the online picture of Shady Heather beanie or other Shady heather products. I'm disappointed as i like the Shady Heather color. Otherwise it's a very comfortable hat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband likes this so much! It's warm but not too thick, and has a fleece lining just over the ears around the bottom of the hat. He has a big head, and it covers all but the very bottom of the lobes. Would buy again!
