Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice! I bought these shoes as they seemed like they wouldbe suited for my needs. I needed biking shoes with hard soles, but that I could also walk in when I was off my bike. I do not use clipless pedals yet, but I have these now for when I am ready to make that change. I wore these the entire trek from PGH to DC and they felt great the entire time. I sometimes wished that they were velcro straps, but the tongue of the shoe has this handy little flap on it where you shove the laces once they are tied so that they stay out of the way. Nice feature! Not to mention these are super cute!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great support At the suggestion of my Spin instructor I purchased this product. The laces -vs- the solid velcro closures provide better ventilation in an indoor environment. The soles are a bit stiff for walking so I'll only use these primarily for spinning. I believe the quality shoe will last through many classes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Improved Spinning Experience I only do indoor cycling and have been going to spin classes for about one year. I always wondered why they never got any easier. After using this shoe twice, while spin isn't necessarily easier, it is much more manageable and I feel I am able to push myself a little harder. I like how the sole is stiff so I can use my whole foot to push, and the pulling up is much easier as well - hopefully getting a better workout for both the front and back of my leg. I purchased these in the store so I was able to try on both the 39 and 40 sizes. I wear a size 7 street shoe and a 7.5 for running and the 39 was the better fit. The 40 was too big. Ideally I would probably have purchased a 39.5 but that wasn't available. So far the 39 is fine and is very comfortable for the hour I have them on. I am using these with the Shimano SH-56 Multi-Directional Release SPD Cleats and they click in great to the Free Motion bikes my club uses. I thought there was too much wiggle the first time I clicked in but once the class started they felt solid. Easy to click out as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fitting shoe These are my first pair of bike shoes. Clipless pedals are something to get used to but I found these shoes to be comfortable and easy to wear while riding and walking. Depending on how you place your clips on the bottom of your shoe, you don't really feel the clip while walking around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good beginer cycling shoe I got these shoes for my wife as her first set of bike shoes. They are good mix of fairly stif soles and still walk like normal shoes. She does not clip in yet but with the full tread bottoms she can use them with flat peadles and has improve your times and cofort form eliminating the felx in your shoes. We should be adding spd cleats to these here shortly and get her using clippless peadles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe Easy to use. Cleats are just a bit to thick for walking around town. I was specificaly told this shoe was good for that as I live in an area where bike trails go thru the local town and you can get off and walk around, but the cleats are pretty loud. Now I've never had biking shoes before so this may just be normal. The shoes are very comfortable and look great! Easy to clip in and out!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for long distance rides I planned to wear this shoe on randonneur rides, 200km and up. It is well ventilated, but the sole plate is much too short and soft for rides of these distances. I can't stand on the pedals, and my forefoot gets really sore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good casual mountain bike shoe I was looking for a biking shoe that was not such a tight fit as others I tried, so I can comfortably take short hikes from the bike. This shoe meets that criteria. For casual biking this shoe is great. For persons into agressive up and down hills, this might not be the best option.
