Works great! Easy to install

This was super easy to install and is currently doing a great job holding our bikes. We are in a small apartment and this setup is a great space saver. Hardest part was finding a stud! (Because the other “stud” in the house was of no help.) Hasn’t fallen off the wall yet which I feel like is a good sign. As others had mentioned, I alternated directions of the bikes and have no problems fitting two.

Worth the price, use different screws.

This is a pretty good wall mount for the price you pay. Once installed, it did a great job of holding my bike far away from the wall, so that the pedals nor the handlebars touched. My only complaint and recommendation to everyone is to use your own screws to mount the bracket. The screws that come with the package are complete trash and will easily strip. I unfortunately found out the hard way. Had to remove and remount with proper screws. Except for that minor (major?) annoyance, this gets the job done.

Great for two road bikes in the garage

I was worried after reading other reviews that this rack wouldn't fit my two road bikes, and decided to order only one to test before investing in a second rack. I am happy to report that both of my bikes (his and hers) fit perfectly and I have no need for a second rack.

Excellent

I have a problem... This is my third kind of bike rack I buy. I have three kids and we all bike, so I have lots of bikes to hang. This one finally fits the bill. I have its older cousin for one bike. That one bends a little under weight, but this one dies nit due to its lower arm. The negative is that like with all these things, the mounting hardware is junk. I had to use my own screws.

Great design but ....

The product is well designed. It was as described. It deserves the five stars for price, construction, utility .... and probably a lot more. But, it was not the solution for our bikes. It seems the designers only visualize road bike handle bars. Only one mountain bike can fit on this on the outer most spot. In truth, I returned the product because it was not right for me. I leave this review as a word of caution. My greater hope is that the makers might consider an alternate design that would be suitable with M-bike H-bars.

inexpensive yet effective

We keep a lot of bicycles in the basement and I prefer not to just lean them against each other. This rack was a very decent solution. The instructions direct that the provided wood screws go through the mounting plate and into a stud in the wall. In our basement, this was not an option (the exterior walls are stone and the studs on the interior walls are inconveniently placed). The best location was in a chipboard wall, but there was no way I was going to rely on wood screws to hold two bicycles in chipboard. The mounting plate takes three 3/16" screws or bolts, so I used three 3/16" x 3" long toggle bolts. Installation took about ten minutes, and now I have the two bicycles on the wall, with one of my old helmets on the little shelf.

Pretty darn good

Just moved to a new house and my garage is a nightmare of boxes. Purchased this bike rack to restore my sanity and have at least, one thing in my garage--neatly in it's place! :) The rack is super easy to install, very durable. It holds my mountain bike just fine. Although, I'm unsure of the strength/room it has to place a second bike on it. The rack says it can hold two, but when you have it assembled with one bike on, it doesn't appear to accommodate a second. I'll just have to buy another bike to find out! ;) Seriously though, even with a second bike--the rack is super affordable--I would just buy another rack if I get a second bike.

Great Rack, Awful Mounting Screw

The rack is well constructed. Sturdy, it holds my road bike with no concern of failing. The supplied mounting screws are best for your next wood project. Replace them with #12 x 2” wood screws from your hardware store (or self-drilling, self-tapping metal screws if attaching to a metal stud.)

Excellent product for the price

Installed this in the back yard (if you'll glorify it that title) area at my apartment. Excellent product, especially for the price. Holds both my girlfriend's and my bike perfectly. Really helped unclutter the area. Very happy with this product. Buy it, for the price, you really can't go wrong.

not truly a two bike carrier

Two road bikes with drop bars head to tail do not sit vertically with this carrier. It will hold two bikes, at least road bikes but they will lean into each other and maybe have inappropriate bike relationships in the process. The screws were OK IMO if you’re screwing into a bare stud, I.e not through drywall. I put some washers on the top two screws.
