Works well, just don't fall.
This was the first nut tool I bought for myself. I have borrowed/used other nut tools, but, at the time I went in to buy one, this was the only one in stock and so it ended up in my rack. Impressions: -It is light and thin, you barely notice it on your harness. -It is strong but right on the border of feeling flimsy -It is OK at removing gear if the leader didn't fall/hang at all -It is really bad at removing gear if the leader did fall/hang at all I'm sure that for certain instances this nut tool would be amazing, especially if you're trying to move fast and save weight on long routes. For projecting routes, especially cracks that necessitate passive gear, it simply lacks the heft to adequately pry out pieces well. I switched to the torque nut tool after I was unable to retrieve a few nuts from finger cracks.
Ultra light, ultra effective
This nut tool is super light weight, easy to clip onto the your harness, and incredibly useful for those hard to remove nuts. I am a huge fan of passive protection and like to stick my gear in really well. As a result, cleaning the routes can sometimes be a pain, but with this tool I've never spent more than 20 seconds freeing a nut which saves a lot of time and energy that I can use to climb more routes!
Very Light, but Less Useful
If you are looking for a very lightweight nut tool, this might be it. Super light. But the weight savings comes at the cost of slightly compromised functionality. The clip is a little too small to fit easily on most biners, and consequently the clip isn't very useful. Also, I actually wish for a little more heft when trying to pound nuts loose.
