KUHL  Renegade Shirt - Men's

This shirt has a nice athletic, tailored fit. Yet, because of the stretch fabric, it never feels confining and it allows for great movement. It is also a soft, smooth fabric that almost feels like silk, yet is much more durable and easy to care for. I have worn it to work as well as for going out at night. It is very versatile and can be dressed up or down and matches equally well with with jeans, khakis or slacks. It is definitely easy care. While one tag says it should be hang dried and another label states tumble dry low, I have washed and dried it in the dryer several times with no ill effects at all. It didn't shrink or wrinkle. Kuhl clothing is somewhat pricey, but you truly get what you pay for. They seem to always be very well tailored and durable. Highly recommended!

I'm 6'4" and 185 lbs,, so most shirts that are long enough for me have way too much room in the stomach area. This is trim and athletic and the large fits me well. It's great for looking sharp AND/OR being active (thanks to the stretchy, durable material). It feels cool and comfortable, looks great, and the collar protects my neck from the sun. Just wish they had some more colors as light and good-looking as the Sage Green, or a brighter and bolder blue and lighter gray instead of such a dark blue and dark gray. There is tan, but that's not a good color for me. Overall, it's a great shirt.

This shirt can just about do everything. Well not everything, but it is so versatile it feels like it's an "all-in-one" shirt. As other reviewers have mentioned, it has just the right amount of professional style along with casual/outdoors, it can be worn just about anywhere. The fit is great (I'm 6' - 200lbs and the large fits great). The fabric feels great with a cool feel that breathes well and stays dry - water beads right off. The bit of stretch in the fabric is a nice touch. The buttons are made of metal. The only logo is the stitched mountain logo on the left sleeve. Overall just an awesome design for a short sleeve shirt. This was one of my first Kuhl products and with my great experience with it, I went and bought more. I unfortunately couldn't find any other Kuhl shirts that matched the love I have for this one. Some of the other Kuhl shirts I bought have Ionik in them to reduce odors but oddly enough by the end of the day they stink. The Renegade shirt does not have Ionik but it does not have an odor after a long active day. I hope Kuhl keeps this shirt around and starts offering more colors. I would really like it in black. The first one I bought was the Pirate Blue and that's a nice blue and some pictures I saw of the Carbon online made it look black but when I got it, it really was more of a gray than black. There's a few other colors available direct from Kuhl that aren't sold on REI.

Let me start by saying, I love this shirt. Feel, fit, look. It has ALMOST everything. The problem - the way Kuhl has their buttons sewn on is horrible. Every button either came off or almost fell off, even the extra button. I had to sewn them all back on. I hope REI buyers address this issue, because I want more shirts.

This was my first Kuhl purchase, and it won't be my last. The fit of the shirt is like a tailored shirt. I have broad shoulders and often when trying on a shirt, if it fits in the shoulders, the rest of the shirt is cut for a big belly, and is huge on me. The Kuhl cut is more of an athletic fit. IT's pretty well represented in the photo on the site. The only downside to it is a bit of special handling in laundering. The sales tag said hang dry, but the shirt tag says dry on low.

I have this XL shirt along with the Persuader! Both wear and fit excellent for me. I'm 5'10" 220 and this size for the Persuader and Renegade fit me well! Just ask my wife! The Renegade seems a little roomier for me across the mid section, but provides all day comfort and style. I have one is black and another in blue. Easy to wear for all day, office, and out to dinner! Has the perfect amount of stretch for me and is easy to care for. I wash these shirts in warm or cold water and hang to dry. If I see it has some slight wrinkling, I throw it in the dryer on AIR DRY only or low heat for a few minutes to. Otherwise, it's wash and wear. Very happy with the Kuhl brand!

This is my husband's favorite shirt. He often has to wear suits to work, and cannot bear to put on dress shirts when it is hot & humid. The wicking of this shirt makes it cool to put on, and the straight bottom makes it so he doesn't need to tuck it in. He doesn't wear a tie with it, but can pull this off in a professional environment. I'm here to buy two more. He has had the first one for over a year, and it has stood up to regular washing. I usually hang to dry, but it has been through the dryer a few times.

My husband isn't much for writing reviews, so I'll write this one for him. He has two of these shirts now. This shirt looks great on. Fits well, not too loose or tight, good for him because he has a broad chest and a narrower waist. Easy fabric to wear and wash. Haven't had it long enough to know how it will wear, but the quality is good.

I bought this shirt about a month ago and am glad I did. This shirt feels great against my skin, breathes better than every shirt I've worn. Color selection was rather drab, but fabric quality, fit and build quality, superb!

This shirt is extemely comfortable, lightweight and breathable. The nylon/spandex combination is right - light rain/mist rolls off the shirt. I've received several positive comments about the shirt.
