You can forget you're even wearing it
This is a decent vest. I use it for cycling, and since wearing it, it seems like cars tend to give me a little more room when passing. It's also nice because the pocket on the front is quite spacious and perfect for holding a couple granola bars for easy access during my rides. I'm pretty slim, 5'10" and 140lbs, and the size s/m fits me well when the velcro is just about maxed out for tightness. I was kinda surprised with how high it rides, it's like wearing a croptop, but that isn't really an issue. It's very light, and doesn't really restrict airflow or provide excess warmth. I really don't even notice it when I'm riding, and what more can you ask for from a humble safety vest?

Purchased for running. Much more visible and comfortable than my other vest which would twist all over the place. Feel a lot safer when running on the quiet roads during the early evening. Excellent design and price. The pocket is a distinguishing factor, perfectly fits the mask and gloves which I need to carry. I bought the yellow (what they call green) color. Very glad I purchased this. I had looked at several reflective products before purchasing this.
Works, but with a couple of flaws
This vest is functional and is holding up fine so far after a couple of months of use. However, a couple of crazy-making flaws. First, the pocket (which was one of the initial draws): design is such that if it's unzipped and you happen to bend over, everything in that pocket will fall out, every time. (This could potentially have been avoided with some kind of flap or different positioning of the pocket.) Second, and more of an issue: the adjustable straps (which were another initial draw), once adjusted to a larger size (necessarily leaving some velcro uncovered), will catch on any athletic shorts or pants you might be wearing, destroying the fabric of those items. This vest is good for visibility, but the design could do with some adjustments.
Excellent product
Bought this for enhanced visibility while biking. Terrific product. Well made, very adjustable with side Velcro and a great deep zippered front pocket to stash phone, mask, etc. I use this daily for my rides and even after 4-5 months of daily use it still looks brand new.
A bit small
This reflective vest comes in two sizes. I usually wear XL shirts, so I bought the larger size 2, for L-XL. But it is very tight, in particular if you are wearing it on top of a jacket. The Velcro straps on the side overlap by maybe one inch only, which makes it also a bit difficult to put it on. And you have to fiddle to find the strap behind your back to connect to. Once you got it on, it does its job, greatly enhancing your visibility at night.
Needs to be offered in S (not S/M).
I ordered the S\M. It’s definitely closer to M than to S. Way too big, even when velcroed to its smallest possible size. I’m 5’6” and 117 lbs. It just bounces up and down as I run. Need a snugger fit!
Great protective vest!
I've been very happy with this product. I've used it for running and have put my phone (iPhone 12 mini) in the front pocket with minimal bouncing while running along with energy gels. The large side openings mean no chafing and it's very light. Strong velcro that's easy to adjust and item is easily packable. My running partner is 5'9 with average build and also fits into the S/M. Not sure how well this item would work for anyone with a large chest since the material isn't stretchy.
easy to pack, sense of security
I wore this when I commuted by bike. Super lightweight, didn't take up any space in the day, easy to put on at night, the zipper pocket was a nice place to store my headlamp while packed and phone while riding. I have since lost it and probably will buy another soon if that tells you anything.
Great for Night Riding/Running
I use this primarily for commuting on bike in the evening. It fits well over a jacket, has a front pocket is great for items I need to access quickly, and holds up well against rain.
Reflective Vest Seems Good
I recently purchased the Amphipod from REI-Hingham [MA], for night walking & bicycling. It's light, "breathes well", and fits OK. I'd prefer it to be somewhat longer, because I'm over 6' tall, but it's alright. The reflective sections do reflect light well - this was tested by placing the vest at the far end of a darkened living room and shining a bike light on it. All in all, I'm satisfied. Time will show how durable it is.
