not ideal for identification on the trail
Unfortunately, the charming artwork in this well-sized guide did not make up for the lack of information inside. This guide lacks useful details like scat, skulls, or other evidence animals leave behind; it also lacked categorizing by zone or region. Was unable to use for identification on backpacking or day hiking.
Trackin Tracks
Gave to my 10year old daughter. She loves this pocket guide. We live in a farm and she is out every morning trying to see what animals visited us the night before
the dog (wolf) on the cover
