Sizing Notes

Select the letter that matches your shoe size range. Letters on all Superfeet products represent heel cup width. For Superfeet insoles to work properly, your heels must be "in" the heel cup entirely, not "on" the heel cup on either side of foot. Stand on a pair of Superfeet in the letter that corresponds closest to your shoe size making sure your heel fits nice and snug "in" the heel cup. If that heel cup is too small, select the next letter size up. After you find your perfect heel-cup fit, simply trim the excess foam (using the sock liner from any of your shoes as a guide) and insert the new trimmed insoles into your shoes (removing the sock liners first).

Great for feet, lousy for Goretex

I have crazy narrow feet with low arches. I bought the narrowest hiking boots I could find (Lowa Renegade in women's narrow), but my feet still slid around in them. So, with the help of a footwear specialist at my local REI, I tried just about every available premium insole in the boots in an attempt to achieve a good fit. The Superfeet Copper was by FAR the most comfortable and best fit for my feet--the difference was stunning. Unfortunately, the REI associate did not mention that the Coppers are totally inappropriate for a Goretex boot like the Renegade, because of the sharp little pillars on the bottom of the insole. The first time I wore the Coppers in the Renegades, they ground a hole into the Goretex lining. Grrrr. So I'm not quite sure how to rate these insoles--5 stars for comfort, zero stars for being appropriate for my needs. The box does not specify that the insoles can damage Goretex linings; you have to go onto the Internet to find that information. It looks like the only Superfeet models that are Goretex-safe are the Green and Berry (or Orange for men), both of which have arches too high for my feet. So it looks like I'll have to turn to another brand, like Sole or SofSole. Superfeet, if you're listening: why not make all your insoles with smooth bottoms, so that they don't destroy the insides of shoes?

Much needed relief

I've used Superfeet Green for many years in my hiking boots. Due to plantar fasciitis in one foot years ago, I had custom orthotics made (and used in all other shoes). Problem solved until recently, when the other foot was affected. Went to Podiatrist and had a series of steroid injections, but no relief. With REI Employee assistance and guidance, I tried the Superfeet Copper and immediately felt the support and relief that I have been looking for. My wife loved them too and bought a pair. I'm now buying a pair for my Dad, who is suffering pain in both feet.

Escellent fix for hard-to-fit feet

My feet measure 8 1/2 D, but the Brannock Device does not register the extra thickness of the balsl of my feet that results from over forty years of hard-style karate practice. Quality mountain boots - Danner, Asolo, LaSportiva - fit or not, more or less, with various thicknesses of socks, after some trial and error. Superfeet insoles were mentioned on a martial arts forum. I have now bought three pairs in different sizes. The result is that three pairs of mountain boots fit properly with the socks I prefer. I don't yet know how long the Superfeet insoles will last, but I will by the end of this season.

Not what I would have expected

I purchased two pair of the Copper Superfeet to fit in my Asics Nimbus Gel17 running shoes. The Nimbus is Asics "premium" neutral running shoe. While I do not run in these, I do walk about 10 miles a day and 9 hours on concrete retail floors. I was looking for a little more cushion that the Superfeet blue offer and thought the memory foam would be the solution. While the memory foam does offer cushion to begin with, it compresses down to the very hard bottom layer. By the end of the day my feet were numb and I woke up with extreme swelling-not good. I have exchanged for the Superfeet traditional Green and know I will be happy with that. PS: Be sure to purchase based on your arch length, not the length of the insoles. I wear an 11.5 D and if I purchased based on size I would get an "E". But based on arch length I wear an "F" and trim to fit. Hope that helps.

Superfeet Never Disappoint

Well up to the high standard set by this brand. I have feet for which most, but not all, size 13s are too small & 14 can be on the large side depending on the shoe. Although I have normal arches I find replacing the manufacturer's footbeds with Superfeet makes all the difference. The shoe fits snugly & the enhanced arch support make all the difference when humping 20kg+ over 20-miles or more of sometimes challenging terrain. The additional heel support in the copper model is useful since my feet are broad across the toes but my heels and ankles are "normal". This means that shoes which fit well in other ways can be a little loose around the ankles. Superfeet can compensate for this too.

I tried the green superfeet and hated, hated, hated them. They just plain hurt my feed. The COPPER ones are WONDERFUL. No more foot pain. Will be asking Santa for another pair.

pretty good

well after a few years off my feet, new job is 6-8 hours straight on my feet. I was in serious pain after a few days. Decided to pull trigger on these and Now get through the day decently. Maybe I should have the wide size, but doesn't seem to fill my timberline shoes. They also fill up more of the toe area (height not width) than I thought they would. The arch also seems a bit towards my heel than I think I would prefer. But they are getting better. the first day I was pretty unsatisfied overall. yeah they got me through the day, but just wasn't right. Now not sure if my feet are adjusting or they are breaking in. they are much more comfortable. the one star deduction really for the arch placement for me and not quiet filling toe area. But in another pair of shoes may be perfect. they seem very high quality.

Best insoles for my feet

Just bought my second pair of copper insoles, having bought the first set about 7 months ago. I bought them to deal with heel pain which was mostly likely caused by achilles tendinitis. Mission accomplished. Even my $350 custom orthotics couldn't relieve that pain. I am able to hike all day without pain -- and this at the ripe old age of 69. For those considering this particular insole, I do have pretty flat feet, which is why the consultant over at SuperFeet recommended this insole. Low profile is the way to go for me.

Feet savers

These insoles were a great alternative to a new pair of shoes. I was having some trouble with shin-splints that I attributed to poor support in my shoes since the insole was fairly compresses after several months of use. These did the trick and I can switch them between shoes. They fit perfect in my Asics runners and my Solomon XA ultra hikers.
