Sizing Notes

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.

SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.

TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.

Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.

Inseam is measured to the floor.

Not as good as it used to be

I have half a dozen of these shirts from previous years. I love them - they look great and lasted forever. Problem is, this year they have completely changed the sizing. I'm 5'10" and 165 pounds - a medium used to be the perfect fit, but in this years model the sleeves are ridiculously long. Now a small is a reasonable fit sleeve wise, but slightly too tight in the chest, and they hardly have any small sizes in stock. Who would ever wear a size XL in this!!! Looks like they were re-designed for orangutans, not humans. Plus they used to have several great colors, now they have just two. What happened? Bring back the old ones please, so I can stock up again!

Fantastic short for...everything, really

A fantastic shirt for tall and slim males. It manages to be very loose and flexible while also form-fitting. Although it's very lightweight, I don't worry about damaging it with rough use- it just feels sturdy. Beyond the fit, it is very wrinkle-resistant. I often wad it up and toss it in my backpack for bike rides or hikes and pull it out again later when it cools off, and barely have any wrinkles. It doesn't hold odor at all and air-dries overnight, which makes it ideal for travel. It can be worn when its warm or cool and won't leave you chilly or sweaty. I'd highly recommend this to anyone!

Great wicking layer

I bought this shirt as a base layer for a week back packing trip with the Boy Scouts at Philmont in NM. I decided that short sleeve was more versatile and exchanged it. Fabric has the weight and comfort of cotton and the wicking of a synthetic. It was very comfortable, washed & dried easily on the trail. Looks great too. Highly recommend this product.

great shirt…buy one size down

Great shirt for the price, very soft, doesn't get too stinky like some synthetic shirts. Soft enough for pajamas, durable enough for hiking. A note on size: I'm 6' 170lb and usually wear large shirts, but in this the Medium fits perfectly.

Hiking Shirt

Nice shirt for outside fall/spring activities. Feels good against the skin while being active. Also a nice base layer during cold weather activities.

Not breathable

I bought this for hiking to protect myself from the sun. It does the job well but its not breathable and it is not good for warm weather hiking.

Soft, comfortable - everyday use

I mostly do adventure (ADV) touring on a motorcycle, which involves long days in the saddle and nights around the campfire. I wear the Sahara LST as a base layer under my riding armor. Super comfortable. The soft fabric is a big improvement over previous base garments. No slick feel, but still wicks away moisture, repels odor and cleans up easy and fast. Stylish enough to wear to the office, too.

Soft, comfortable, low tech

I got two of these, gray and blue. Not much of a choice of colors which are muted. But the shirt is soft, the sleeve long enough in large (I wear a 35 inch sleeve), and they wash and dry quickly. They are not a high tech under layer for vigorous activity, but great for wearing around or light workout for the price.

Thin, lightweight shirt

This shirt is very lightweight and thin. It can be a bit tough to roll up the sleeves, and although it wicks moisture it doesn't seem to evaporate off of the shirt. Good for mild weather or warmer days where you need to be covered up but won't be sweating much.
