Good, but...
These are fine bandanas in fun colors. They're a good size for tying around my head to keep my hair out of my face, or for sun protection. I always take a couple with me on hikes and trips. The only problem I have with them is that the website states that they are made in the US, but tags on them say they're made overseas.

Fine - but WASH CAREFULLY
I would wash this bandana separately, it bleeds A LOT of blue dye when washed. I'm glad I thought about it at the last minute, because it definitely would have ruined a load of laundry! Otherwise, the bandana is fine.

Size is not as advertised

It's not 22x22, more like 22x20. Which means that instead of fitting my head comfortably, it doesn't. Pro tip: if you fold a rectangle along a diagonal and the other two corners don't match up, it's not a square. Not cool!

fun colors but...

These caught my eye in the REI store in SLC last summer and a I bought a couple for an ensuing hike - decided to wash before using and was amazed by how much color bled out of them in the sink (used shampoo to wash). Then some weeks later threw a blue one and a black/silver one into a load with some bleach (had in mind that I would not care if the color lightened a bit) but the colors seriously changed - the black/silver one turned a muddy brown. So bottom line is they are nice enough, but was sad to see to colors turn off so dramatically; just gotta treat more gently that your typical work-horse hiking bandana if you want to preserve the color.

Best bandana ever

I don't have a "hat friendly" head. In order to keep sweat out of my eyes and the top of my head from getting sunburned I wear bandanas, and I've been wearing them over 50 years. Over the years the quality of bandanas has degraded significantly. These bandanas are bigger, thicker, heavier, and softer than any bandana you can find anywhere else. I've probably owned over 1000 bandanas in my lifetime. Believe me, I know what makes a good bandana. These are perfect! Please don't skimp on the quality of your bandanas. You can not find a good bandana like these anywhere else that I know of.

Hand wash the first time!

This bandana is the perfect weight and comes in such wonderful patterns. I will be getting more. Just make sure you hand wash the first time to avoid lots of color bleed.

STIFF, even after repeated washing!

I did think of reading the reviews before buying bandanas! I washed this bandana repeatedly with every load of clothes i do to soften it, w/o success. I soaked it in hot water, and some chlorine. Still stiff. I use it now as a buffer layer on top of wool, silk or linen when I iron. We, women like soft bandanas that can stay close to our skin to keep us dry...

Color runs! Be careful

I'm giving this 3 stars because the color runs when washed. Luckily, I read the reviews and knew to wash this by hand separately. I bought the yellow one (p rag) and washed it in the sink with bronner's soap. It ran. I rinsed it out and squeezed all the water out. It still dripped yellow so I washed it again. I will need to remember not to put it in the wash until I can be absolutely sure the color is done running.

Colorful, good size

I like these bandanas because they are colorful--you can see them easily if you drop one and one of your fellow hikers picks it up. The fabric is not very soft until you wash it a couple of time but the color remains true. It is large enough to tie one end to your pack or wrap it around your neck. I bought two in different colors and found that I needed both for my hikes.
