I recently took this sleeping bag to on a camping trip at Glacier National Park and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable my sleeping experience was without a sleeping pad. The cold ground did not disrupt the warm cocoon I was wrapped in during the evenings and during the day I would keep my clean clothes in it to protect them from the rain and to warm them up when I returned from a day of hiking. I never had an issue of water getting into the sleeping bag, or soaking up water from the ground. It dries quickly and compresses very easily that makes packing up a breeze.
I love this bag! It packs down well, light weight, and plenty warm in low 40 degree weather with slight breeze and rain. The material is cozy, and I feel the bag itself is well made. The zippers work well, and there are no wind drafts in the zipper lines. Gotta love that.... And I didn't go breaking the bank for a new bag...... All round great deal!
