Nicest Floor Pump I've Ever Used

The screw-on chuck takes a few tries to get used to, but after that it is golden. It goes on easily, doesn't leak, and most importantly, doesn't stress the stem the way the clamp-on style chucks do. Beyond that, the pump is silky smooth, pumps beyond 120psi effortlessly, and the gauge is clear and easy to read (though I do have to bend over some since the gauge is at floor level). To top it all off, it is a work of art. With a polished aluminum body, cast base, and finished wood handle you will want to keep the pump in your living room, not in your garage. I sure hope that the pump turns out to be as durable as it is good looking.

I'm Impressed

I just got this pump, so here are first impressions: The screw-on head is far superior to anything else I've seen because it's quick to attach and puts no stress on the valve stem. Extremely easy to use with presta valves (only one I tried). The o-ring seals the head to the valve with very little force(don't tighten too far - it won't hurt it, but starts leaking because the o-ring is pushed past the landing on the valve). It's easy to pump to 130 psi, and appears to be durable.

Looks nice, but just doesn't work.

I've had this pump for four months and have managed to get air into my presta valves twice. The connection from pump to valve stem has to be screwed on, which is a little bit of a hassle, but if it worked better than other pumps I'd be OK with it. It just doesn't work. Air leaks everywhere. I contacted the manufacture, Lezyne, to see if I got a faulty pump, but I couldn't get a response. Lezyne doesn't not stand behind their products. Purchase a pump from a reputable company.

Beautiful but useless

This is a beautifully built pump. It is the modern incarnation of what a Silca should be. However, there is a very fine line between it working perfectly and not at all. The head (I have only tried presta) simply does not actuate the valve on the majority of tubes I have tried. It's not simply a matter of screwing the head down far enough vs too far. What happens is that you need to screw it down far enough to 1. actuate the valve, 2. seal the o-ring, and 3. Not over-run that seal you just achieved. Not every presta valve stem is built the same and different brands (and different manufacturing runs within a brand) all come out different. Some work with this pump, and others do not. For me, this pump was a relatively expensive waste of money, especially aggravating because I have never had a single problem with my Lezyne hand pump. Go figure.

Shoddy pump! Not worth the money!

Lezyne was supposed to be my best pump experience and ended up being the worst. The pump is no easier to pump than my Academy special. It was very hard for me to find the ABS relief flip chuck and the speed chuck…they did not come with it. The gauge is not easy to read as they claim, it is rather dark. It does not pump smooth and the hose is thin and cheap. Even the flip chuck head is poor quality, unscrews removable cores and is difficult to screw on to the valve. The pump is very light but feels like poor quality. the hose holder unscrews all the time. You can not relieve the air pressure if you over pump without removing the chuck. I bought the CNC after being disappointed with the floor classic, thinking the top of the line was sure to be good. Sorely disappointed! I went with the Topeak ACE and the difference is remarkable! Topeak really has it figured out!

good pump, bad chuck

I use this everyday and it is a solid performer. The only complaint is the swivel at the chuck which allows the chuck to be installed without the hose binding. The swivel is metal on both sides and it binds on itself making it difficult to install/remove on the valve stem. This should be re-engineered. This is a durable pump that works effortlessly when installed.

nice hight pressure pump

1st time trying out tubular tire set-up. Ran into issue with tire pressure, since they have a max pressure fo 200psi. Current pump maxed out at 160psi. This surpasses that easily to I believe 220. I was also impressed that there was no hinge to secure to the tire. You just screw the tip to the valve and screw it off. Fits great

AAWWEEESSSSSOOOOOOMMMMMEEEEEE!

Wow, great product. Long stretchy hose, good stable feet, strong handle, great look, real good seal on presta and schrader valves from 4 defferent companies. Just to add to it's awesomeness, I got it at the REI garage sale for [$]. I'm 6'3" and far sighted and I can see my tire pressure just fine. Don't let that scare you.

Quality Unit

I have been through many pumps. They all contain too much plastic in all the wrong places. This pump is the best I have tried. You can spend less on another pump, but I bet you'll be buying several more before you meet the life of this Lezyne unit.

Awesome product

I wanted to buy a decent bike pump that was not plastic. We have gone through 3 bike pumps and they were all made of plastic. Finally a well made product! My husband who is very picky was impressed with my purchase. :) Thanks REI!
