PUTS ME WHERE I WANT TO BE BEFORE I GET THERE!
THIS BOOK WAS PURCHASED WITH THE INTENT OF CANOEING SOME OF THE BAYS, RIVERS, AND ESTUARIES ON THE WA. COAST LINE. SO ONLY A SMALL PORTION OF THIS BOOK WAS USEFUL TO ME, BUT IT CONTAINED INFORMATION THAT I COULDN'T FIND ANY WHERE ELSE. IT WAS MORE THAN I WANTED TO PAY FOR ONLY BEING ABLE TO USE 10% OF THE BOOK, BUT TRYING TO FIND INFORMATION ELSE WHERE JUST WASN'T WORKING. THESE FOUR GUYS DOING THE WRITING DO AN EXCELLENT JOB, HOWEVER. I HAD THIS TURNED INTO A SPIRAL BOUND BOOK SO THAT IT WAS EASIER TO USE AND READ. WELL WORTH THE COST!
What an awesome guide.
I have the sister book to this for NW Oregon. Based on how informative it is, I knew this would be great. Detailed information on put-ins, camping/lodging, fees and on and on. It's January right now, too cold for long trips. Already dog-eared my copy and have numerous trips planned for warmer months.
