After a lot of research of just about every tool, I chose this one because it keeps it simple. My bike has all 7 hex bolts along with Phillips and flathead. Torx is the only one I don't need. The handle fits well and it isn't wide like so many 15+ multi-tools so it's less of an issue in tight spots. I like the extra length of the wrenches. The stubby ones with other multi-tools can be frustrating. Another reviewer suggested a spoke wrench which would be nice but I prefer to carry a separate spoke wrench because stripping spoke nipples is not a good thing because there is usually a darn good reason why you need to use it. I also carry a separate chain tool because the 10 and 11 speed chains really need a good chain tool. It's more weight than one of the larger multi-tools but having a real spoke wrench and chain tool is worth it. My one complaint is the weight isn't even close for mine. 153 grams versus the advertised 124 grams. That's 25% heavier. I took the Torx wrench out and it was still 142 grams so I can't see any real way that most of them could be close to 124 grams. However this is generally par for the course with bike manufacturers. Most of them might as well not put any weights.

Not stainless steel

In addition to the standard hex keys, the Crank Brothers multi-10 tool, comes with a flat and Phillips head screwdriver, which is lacking from other small multi tools. However, I discovered that the tool is not stainless steel and starts to rust as soon as it is exposed to moisture ... left stubborn rust stains inside my backpack.

Works and fits well

First time owning this type of tool; cannot compare to others within same category. However; the attached tools have thus far proven to be everything I need to tackle almost every, hand tighten-worthy, fastener on the bike. Construction is thus far holding up, bit loser than anticipated but not too lose. The tools are a good quality finish and great tolerance fit (cheap tools oftentimes have poor manufacturing tolerances, i found them to dent or even strip fastener heads). Would recommend to others. I got the one without the chain breaker. Since, I did damage my chain and got a separate tool for chain repair. No regrets as this tool is smaller and with me on every ride.

Awsome tool to have

This is a good reliable tool to have in the backpack. It has pretty much have all the standard allen wrench size that a bike has. It saved me a few times from walking miles, but with this Tool , It has the size I need to tighten the pedals that fell of on a downhill ride and few other things. Not to be disregarded to have on long mountain rides. This tool appearrs to be built strong.

great tool

beware other tools don't have all the sizes. You would be surprised how many sizes are needed for your bike beyond the standard 3-4-5-6. how about your shoes? how about your computer mount? how about your break adjustment screws? front deraileur adjustment. This tool has a solid grip which makes the individual tools very functional. worth the little extra weight

Everything I need in a small package.

It thing is great for doing on the road adjustments or helping with a complete tear-down and rebuild. This tools home is in my bikes saddle pack at all times and when I'm training or touring it's all I need. Some reviewers say that it could use a spoke wrench, but if I'm truing wheels I'm already in my shop with a wheel truer and probably have one or two there. To me, it is simple, yet complete.

Just Short of Perfection

This is a real minimalist tool that is just short of an absolute minimum of what you need for a traveling tool kit. If the Torx driver were replaced with a spoke nipple wrench I'd rate it a perfect 5 stars. As is, I'd really rate this as a 4.9 star product as what is included is essential and works great. The tool fits solidly in your hand and has plenty of torque for stubborn bolts.

Handy Little Tool

Great little tool for the price. The only issue is the hinge that hold it all together get loose after much use & you have to tighten it up from time to time. The irony is, you would need another hex wrench to tighten it with. All in all it does the job on my bike for what I need it for.

Not as small as it appears in the photo.

Nice tool, but too many fold outs. I needed just a nice small hex key mainly to get the front wheel off. Not what I needed, so returned it to REI.

Great bike tool

Crankbrothers has always made quality stuff in my opinion and this is no exception. It has a larger number of hex sized than other tools I have which is why it won the spot in my bike bag. Also looks pretty clean!
