Good Stopping, noisy when wet.

Does the normal thing you'd want from brake pads, bike stops when you grab the levers. Takes a long time to bed in on account of the compound. And if conditions are wet where riding it is extra long and noisy. Great once you get them set - was speeding downhill the other day when a light did a short green and am very happy with how they work in emergency stopping conditions. I felt like i had good control over the wheels that I haven't ever had with the last set of tekro ones I ran.

Squeaking

Terrible squeaking that keeps coming back whenever water touches the disks. Even after extensive cleaning it keeps coming back after a short time.

Good brake pads

As an intermediate rider, these are good brake pads. The response on it is nice and has a decent lifespan. I noticed a small part of the brake pad got chipped off. Not sure if it was from braking too hard or what, but will give this another chance as my second purchase.

Great Brakes Pads from REI.

They work just fine! I am more than satisfied. The bike has almost 27,000 miles on it. I make sure that it remains a safe bike to use by having REI examine it and fix what needs to be fixed. The bike rides like new.

Noisy and poor braking

They work and they fit, but they are noisy and low friction. Do yourself a favor and get Shimano B05S-RX non-metallic resin brake pads instead. If your bike is in for service, ask them not to use these jagwire pads.
