Added white zip ties

The crank axles was torqued pretty tight at the factory, so used white zip ties to secure the tool to to the splined nut , so it wouldn't strip out the crank nut splines.

Nice product, easy to apply.

I had been looking for some gorilla snot to lube my crank case and hub bearings and couldn't find it at the usual box stores, everything was online order. I was pleasantly surprised to find this product and used it. Great viscosity and it's water repellent, made a huge difference in coasting and I heard scraping when pedaling which prompted me to make this purchase. There is enough in the bottle for 2 generous greasing on the crank case, front and rear hubs. It comes in a bottle like tub and tile caulk so you can apply more accurately without getting your fingers all greasy.

Sticky stuff that does the job!

I purchased this to use when upgrading the BB and crank of my Cannondale Quick 1. I have worked with many different types of grease in the automotive and agricultural world so I know they are not all the same. The Park Tools grease is thick and does not come off of parts easily. It was used for the BB threads, crank spindle, and pedal threads. It was easy to apply from the tube, definitely stays in place, and made for easy assembly. I'm sold!

Alternate Application a go-go

Although I have a bicycle or two which I will be utilizing this item on, I bought this to maintenance other smaller mechanisms. I used this on some appliances as well as car interior parts. It has exceptional in my '09 Prius glove compartments and center console mechanisms. The parts, maintenanced, work and feel like new again. I'm greatful to have realized alternate applications because the wear on the plastics involved, after 6+ months, looks better (there is no wear) than auto grease, especially "the wrong" auto grease. I will keep monitoring periodically, and try to update my review. (I only give mid-grade ratings in the event of a glitch.)

Great for Bottom Bracket and Crank Replacement.

I recently replaced my threaded BB and re-installed my crank. I used this to grease the threads in my frame to install the BB and on the the crank. It worked great! I would recommend it for anyone attempting to replace a warn BB or a new crank.

Park Polylube 1000 Grease

My go-to bike grease. Compatible with carbon frames and a good general use bike grease.

Excellent grease

I used it only for bike pedals so far. Easy to apply, feels just right - not too thick, not too thin.

Greasy.

It's from Park tools. You need grease for assembly, and bearings, and...It's good stuff.

It's grease

I needed this to repack the bearings on my commuter / touring bike after cleaning. It worked well despite my lack of a proper grease gun. The wheels now spin freely without play or noise. It's not glamorous, but it works, and I liked the dispensing tip.
