Perfect for one

The ENO Guardian Bugnet fits perfectly with ENO products and functions very well. I heeded the words of another reviewer and ran the ridgeline rope through the top clips, not "under" them, and also left the outside two clips free to hang. Hard to describe, but it works better this way. The Guardian is ideal for one, but pretty snug with two people in my doublenest. Another thing to think about is it actually provides a good bit of warmth to the hammock. I'm from Georgia, so summer days can get pretty warm and full of mosquitos. Overall a very well made product, if you're careful with your gear it will last a long time.

While the product is listed as 9 ft 6 in, mine was only 8 ft. WHAT!?!?! I really could have used that extra foot and a half,(see pic), this was on both sides without me in it, spreading the hammock. Other than that a good product. I've had mine since 6/12, still works. Since I modified it

Good Quality, Very Large

Obviously, if you want to keeps bugs off while hammock camping, this bug net is a must. I have found two things about this net that really make it worth having for me. The bottom of the net drops down low enough to hang an underbelly hammock; with an underbelly i can keep my pack and boots off the ground and protected by the net. When the net is hung, the cord strung above you can be used to hang small items or run small LED lights along.

Great product!

The ENO guardian bug net rocks. I only had the ENO doublenest hammock for a while but after my boyfriend got the ENO onelink system last month and I saw how happy he was w/ it, i had to buy one. The net and ENO rain fly make sleeping in a hammock such an easy alternative to tent camping. After sleeping in my hammock using the bug net, i dont know that Id ever take a tent backpacking again. Sleeping a hammock is surprisingly comfortable. Not only does it keep the bugs away, it keeps you off the ground=dry. What an awesome product, i recommend Eaglesnest Outfitters(ENO) all the way for hammock camping!

A must-have for hammock camping

I'm getting ready to try out hammock camping rather than traditional tent camping. I will say that this is a MUST-HAVE if you plan on trying this. It provides great protection from pesky mosquitoes while still allowing you to enjoy that evening breeze. There are pull cords on either end so you can tighten up the hole where your straps pass through on each end which is nice. This gives you 100% protection from bugs. Now the downsides: The paracord it comes with is not very long, so it may be better to go out and buy similar paracord that has more length to it. If you have Atlas straps, it works out well because you can tie the paracord to the top loop on each strap and it gives you plenty of head clearance, depending on how far down the Atlases your Eno is attached. Not necessarily a problem, just my opinion. Second thing I noticed, as someone else pointed out already, it has a LOT of material that hangs down below the hammock. To me this is space that could be utilized. I was strapped to two trees a good ways up from the ground and the carry bag was still touching the ground. Again not a bad thing, just something that could be changed. Being an engineering student I've learned to look at the little details. Overall I'm happy with this investment and think it's more than worth it, especially with summer coming up.

Good feature when used carefully

Let me start off by saying that I love ENO's products; their hammocks are easy to set up, lightweight and durable. This bug net, although it does keep the bugs out when used properly, can be a headache to set up. The net comes with a cheap, short ridgeline wire that can only be stretched between trees about 8 feet apart and also two separate tightening lines at each end of the net. Finding the right combination can be extremely tricky, and tiring in warm weather. Also, it gets very hot inside the net. Overall though, the net does its job; it keeps bugs out well, and the netting is generally high quality. When inside, it really feels like a solid hammock sheltering system. It is a nice compliment to ENO's hammocks, just make sure not to fall out; the netting WILL tear.

Quality Item, but limited in Size

The Good- Does it's job, and does it well. It is easy to set up, though you'll want to buy your own longer guy-line. It keeps the bugs out, lets the breezes through, and in all the dozen plus multi-day trips I've used it on I haven't seen any noticeable wear. The Poor- This is a personal problem, but being 6'2" it really doens't fit me that well. We all know that to get the most comfort out of a parachute hammock you hang in it brazilian style diagonally. Well this net hugs the hammock so tightly that you don't really have the room to do so, and even then the sides often press against me and the bugs can bite you through if they're tenacious enough. It's a good item, but if you're on the taller end prepare to be more snug in it than you should.

Works with an underbelly hammock attached as well

First off, I'm 5'10''. I hammock camp with an underbelly hammock underneath me and this is where I keep all of my gear (pack, boots, clothes, etc). I do this because everything is within arms reach. This bug net was tall enough to fit the underbelly (w/ gear) and myself in my double nest. It was a perfect fit. It was wide enough that I could get in my hammock, throw my feet over the sides, sit up, take my boots off and put them with the rest of my gear in my underbelly hammock. MUST have IMO.
