Great for camping.

These have been great for our elementary aged kids. They wear them around the campsite and in the tent once it gets dark and use them as pre-sleep reading lights. They are lightweight, small and easy to use. The plastic is lightweight so I worry some about it breaking when the batteries are changed, but this has not happened yet and we have been using them for nearly 2 years.

Great for Kids

Both of my kids have these and love them. Great for use by kids in tent, campout, bedroom, etc. Inexpensive, so not fearful that the kids will lose them or get stolen. Nothing fancy, it is what it is. Only complaint is that the light sometimes falls off of the strap, but that could just be lack of proper adjustment on the part of the user.

My kids LOVE this headlamp!

My older daughter is 7 and she loves to read. We have loved this headlamp because she CAN adjust the beam to point right at the page of her book. The automatic shut off after an hour is wonderful too because she often falls asleep reading at night and this really saves on the batteries! ( I think we've used 3 AA batteries for the entire year!) My younger daughter just likes to use it as a nightlight. We have used these on every vacation and hiking trip we've gone on and they have been GREAT! They are very durable! My children have had them for two years now and they were 3 and 5 when they got them so they were definitely used and abused! They are still going strong and look as good as the day we bought them. The strap adjustment was a little different at first, but once you figure it out it's a cinch! I highly recommend these headlamps! They make a great stocking stuffers or easter basket gifts too! It's a terrific gift for boys and girls of just about any age.

Durable Kids Headlamp

A rugged and durable headlamp designed for kids with fun graphics and colors. I would have liked it to have an adjustable beam and I thought it was a little too bright for kids. Perfect for kids who want both hands free to explore and play at night with the safety of a light.

More of a toy

This light was just to dim to be of any use for any kids 3+ years old. I liked the auto turn off after an hour, but it was useless in a campsite or on a trail. Two LEDs are just not enough
