Waterproof - What more could you want?
I used this pack cover through both heavy and light rains and when fitted to my pack correctly nary a drop of the wet stuff made it past the cover. The case for the cover is really neat too. I use it for first aid supplies when I carry it, which isn't often. But you can just stuff the cover without the case and save a little weight. It adds up.
