Great All Around gloves
I bought these gloves to use as an everyday glove. I love that they are strechy enough to put on fast and easily (holding a baby!) while giving me great dexterity to do daily activities. I can buckle both my kids in their carseats without having to take these off. I can also build a snowman without thinking about the cold or the wet of the snow. The gripy plams and fingers are great too. It's easy to forget you are wearing these. They are just what I wanted. The wash up really nice in the washer. I hung them dry and they dried quickly. I am going to buy a second pair to have in reserve. I don't want to be without them!
Great lightweight gloves
These are great everyday gloves. I wear them for general winter use in the city as well as for winter hiking. For in the city, they're thin enough that it's easy to handle a cell phone, turn book pages, and zip coats without taking them off, but warm enough to handle weather down to about 20F, for me at least. And they also look nice enough that I don't feel ridiculous wearing them with a wool peacoat. I also use them for winter hiking (although with a much thicker pair of mittens in my pack) and skiing in 40-50F weather. They're not waterproof, but they are fairly water resistant and they stay reasonably insulating even when wet. I was also really pleased to find that the women's large actually are long enough in the fingers to fit my hands, which is often not the case with women's gloves.
I'm on my 6th pair!
Three Christmases ago, my son-in-law got me these gloves because I had requested driving gloves that were warm yet dexterous enough to allow me to operate the phone, radio, etc. I found myself using them for everything, not just driving. Every time I went outside, I put them on. I live in Montana where we get serious wind (130 mph - I'm not joking) and these gloves are great for doing anything I need to do outside except in the very coldest weather, where they make a great liner for a bigger glove. I love them for grooming my horses because the horse hair doesn't stick to them. I use them for cleaning stalls, shoveling snow, cross-country skiing, walking, jogging - you name it. I keep one pair in the car so they don't get dirty and keep another pair in a basket by the door. They wash up great and dry quickly.
great grippy running gloves!
I got these gloves to wear while running outside in the winter- great grips, keeps my hands warm when sweaty, but doesn't do the trick in extremely cold weather for long hours. Washes easily- hung them to dry instead of the washer, so don't know about the shrink factor. Love these gloves!
