Easy to use...
Used it to remove several cranks. My only complaint is that the handle could be a bit longer to provide more leverage, outside of that, it is very sturdy, and was easy to use. There are two bits that fit into the tool so it can be used regardless of what style of bottom bracket end you have. I have found it useful, but its a bit of a pain to keep track of the bit that is not attached. It would be nice if it could be fit onto the back of the handle when not in use...
Not the usual quality from Pedro's
I usually opt for Pedro's brand bike tools over the competition (Park, IceToolz, etc.), but I don't recommend this crank puller. The first time I used it (on some stuck 20-year-old cranks) the threads stripped right off the press shaft, destroying the tool, and the crank arm didn't budge off the bike. I returned the Pedro's tool, tried Park Tool's version (CWP-7C), and both crank arms came off without a hitch.
Works!
Comes with an additional pushing tip but takes insight to know to insert it into the handle to keep it from getting lost. No instructions for newbs. Lots of foreign info on the back is real usefull. Did the job! Pulled cranks off three bikes no problems!
Unusually handy
Busted my cog pedaling. Bought this only knowing how to use it via YouTube. So easy to use. Plus doubles as hex wrench so you don’t have to buy another tool when replacing the cog.
Good solution if you need to change a crank
Works great. I have never changed a crank before and this only took ten minutes with this tool. The included hex driver made this very easy. After 100 miles everything is still tight and secure.
Universal Crank Puller
Just what I needed to service my Shimano Ultegra Octalink Bottom Bracket. Comfortable in hand and excellent leverage.
works perfect for my bike
Works perfect for my bike. Just what i needed. I even carry it in the back of my bike trailer in case I need it in a pinch.
