BD Rocklock Twistlock Carabiner Rocks!

Black Diamond Rocklock Twistlock Carabiner I have one for each of my belay devices. The Auto-Lock really allows me to worry more about the rope and knots. Close-it, check-it, then I can move on. Great for use with Belaying device I have an ATC and the Grigri 2 and I use it for these two devices. The diameter is just perfect for the grigri I can slide it all around. This Carabiner is also easy to open when you want to. You don't need to go down then twist it very easy however it will not open accidentally. The only downside is that this Biner is a little on the heavy side but worth it for the safety it provides even on long climbs. ~Livestrong T.

Great Belay Biner

Great for use with Belaying device I have an ATC and the Grigri 2 and I use it for this two device the diameter is just perfect for the grigri I can slide it all around. Also the design on the gate is really good and I tried everything possible to get the gate not to close properly and the way its design that does not happen. I tried many other auto-locking Carabiner and they have a faulty design that right before it closes the auto design keep the gate from properly closing some times. This Carabiner is also easy to open when you want to. You don't need to go down then twist it very easy however it will not open accidentally. The only downside is that this Biner is a little on the heavy side but worth it for the safety it provides even on long climbs.

Pretty solid biner

Really solid biner. Without going into all the good stuff cause there's plenty, it'll do everything you want it to. My only complaint is it can get hung up opening if you push it to open it while you're twisting to unlock. You kinda have to twist and then push. But after a day or two with it it'll become second nature. It's just at first it can be a little rocky... get it? Other than that, good product.

I love them!

These are my favorite locking carabiners. They're a bit on the heavy side (even for a locker), but they're so easy to operate again and again, that I don't mind the extra weight. They're easy to open with one hand (even with gloves), and all you have to do is release and they're locked. They are solid, bomber, and I use them all the time for anchors, clipping on to bolts, and via ferrata routes.

Dont Think Just Buy

I bought two of these to save time coming down rap routes to quickly anchor myself. These are huge time savers and are very safe. Have not had a malfunction. I would recommend screw lock D carabiners for attaching harness to a belay device as the shape of the Twist Lock can get caught in the sidewise position.

Works like it's supposed to

In dozens of pitches of climbing with two of these I've never had a problem. I have intentionally tried to get it to close without latching, but the design is such that it won't. I've had regular locking carabiners come unscrewed while climbing, but not these, so I feel safe with them.

Great gear

As with all safety gear, the best part about it is that it does the job it is intended to do. I gave this for a gift and have witnessed its use twice so far. It worked great. Easy enough to open and locked when released. I will likely buy another.

Great Carabiner!

Great Carabiner! works excellent and i have had no problems with it for the last 4 years! Only down-fall is that the twist lock hinge needs to be "lubbed" or sprayed with WD-40 once in a while but not very often!

The Best Belay Biner

I have one for each of my belay devices. The Auto-Lock really allows me to worry more about the rope and knots. Close-it, check-it, then I can move on.

Easy to Use

As a beginner I wanted to feel safe in my climb. This carabiner is easy to use and provides the security with it's easy locking system.
